Gov. DeSantis (R-Fla.) signed four bills banning vaccine mandates in Brandon, FL, giving a not-so-subtle nod to the popular “Let’s go Brandon” phrase that has caught on throughout the nation.

These bills ban any sort of vaccine mandates throughout the state. Florida residents will not be fired from their jobs if they’re unvaccinated, nor will parents be forced to give their child a vaccination. In a press conference, DeSantis said, “Nobody should lose their job because of these COVID jabs”.

“We were here to celebrate a great city in the state of Florida, a freedom city,” said DeSantis in an interview with Fox News, “and it’s important that when you have the Federal government overreaching like Joe Biden’s doing, that we sign legislation to protect Floridians”.

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody was also interviewed by Fox News and shared her views on the Biden administration, saying, “This administration continues to make reckless, misguided policy decisions with no regard for the ultimate consequences and the individual wellbeing of the American people.” Moody also labeled Biden’s decisions as “shortsighted” and lacking regard for the people being harmed in the process.
