The organization that sells baby parts to the highest bidder is fighting tooth and nail to keep taxpayer dollars flowing into their abortion mills. For far too many years now, we’ve been listening to the left tell us that Planned Parenthood is primarily about providing “health care” to low-income families, and that abortion is just a minor part of their business.  Now that President Trump is talking about taking away taxpayer funds that Planned Parenthood uses to extinguish the lives of unborn babies while promising to keep the funding for health care for low-income women intact, Planned Parenthood supporters are still crying foul.

Former Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards said “if people don’t support abortion, they don’t have to have one” in response Friday to those opposed to Planned Parenthood receiving federal funding.

The Trump administration is set to announce the resurrection of a Reagan-era rule denying federal funding to clinics that discuss abortion with patients or share space with abortion providers.

Richards blasted the decision during an NPR interview as a “gag” rule that will destroy trust between patients and doctors, arguing women won’t get all the information they deserve about their pregnancies.

“Can you respond to the basic assertion being made there, that some people are profoundly morally opposed to abortion and they just don’t want the federal government to have anything to do with it, so just cut it off,” NPR host Steve Inskeep asked. “Set it to the side. Why not?” –WFB
