More than six years after Dr. Anthony Fauci began leading the national discussion regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, news details continue to emerge regarding his advice.
In particular, evidence shows that Fauci knew of potentially life-threatening issues associated with the rapidly developed COVID vaccine even as he was urging Americans to get the jab.
Now, one longtime anchor on Fox News is opening up about his own experience, citing his decision to receive the vaccine and booster as a likely culprit:
It’s not John Roberts’ first public statement in opposition to the COVID vaccine, as Forbes reported after Colin Powell’s death in 2021:
Roberts authored a series of follow-up tweets asserting that he was unfairly characterized as “anti-vax,” noting he was “excited” to get vaccinated, took part in a PSA encouraging vaccination against Covid-19 and plans to get a booster shot “as soon as possible.”
ADVERTISEMENTRoberts went on to acknowledge that Powell had myeloma but added he “personally know(s) a number of people who have had breakthrough infections—some of them quite troubling.”

Meanwhile, NewsNation reported on the latest bombshell allegation to surface from Fauci’s text messages:
In a January 2021 exchange between Fauci and then Surgeon General Vivek Murthy and then CDC Director Rochelle Walensky, Fauci flagged a possible issue, saying, “I asked around a bit and more and since many people have significant cytokine storms and fever after the second dose, this theoretically could be associated with miscarriage in the first trimester.”
A week later, Fauci texted the FDA found no red flags among pregnant women in COVID-19 vaccine trials and that the vaccine’s benefits outweighed any potential risks.
NIH Director Dr. Jay Bhattacharya joined “Elizabeth Vargas Reports” to discuss the release of the messages.
“It’s kind of shocking, actually, because he was the public face of the COVID response, and he recommended that basically everyone get the vaccine, and he was the face of the vaccine mandates in January 2021 when he sent that text message,” Bhattacharya, a Trump appointee, told NewsNation.
