Earlier today, we reported on Dan Bongino taking the day off out of frustration with the DOJ’s handling of the Epstein files.

Now, we have reports that he has given an ultimatum: either Pam Bondi goes or I do.

Dan Bongino is reportedly insanely furious and got into a heated confrontation with Pam Bondi behind closed doors in the White House.

Now, sources say he is threatening to step down as Deputy FBI Director is Pam Bondi is allowed to keep her job after completely dropping the ball on the Epstein case.

NEW: Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino is “out of control furious” and will quit unless AG Pam Bondi is fired, according to NBC News.

“This destroyed his career. He’s threatening to quit & torch Pam unless she’s fired,” a source told the outlet.

Bongino and Kash Patel were asked during a meeting with Bondi and WH chief of staff Susie Wiles on Wednesday about a report that they were “dissatisfied” with the decision not to release any Epstein files.

The meeting then “got pretty heated,” according to a source who spoke with NBC.

“The source familiar with the perspectives of Patel and Bongino say they have been increasingly frustrated with Bondi over a variety of issues, not just the Epstein files,” NBC added.

President Trump reportedly has “not lost confidence in anyone involved.”

As much as I’d hate to see Bongino go, this makes sense.

It sounds a whole lot more like the Dan Bongino we knew months ago — the Bongino who has been pushing for the Epstein files to be released for years and promised to deliver to the American people.

NBC News shared more details about his clash with Bondi:

Bongino did not report to work Friday amid speculation about his whereabouts, said a source familiar with the perspectives of DOJ leaders who also believes that Bongino is considering leaving.

This came after a confrontation Wednesday at a meeting with Bondi and White House chief of staff Susie Wiles during which Bongino and Patel were asked about a news story suggesting they were dissatisfied with the decision not to release any additional Epstein files, according to the source familiar with the perspectives of DOJ leaders and an additional source familiar with the meeting. The meeting was first reported by Axios.

The meeting “got pretty heated,” another source who was briefed on the meeting said.

“Bondi, [Deputy Attorney General] Todd Blanche, Patel and Bongino were on the same page on this all along, until the criticism started to come in,” the source familiar with DOJ leaders’ perspectives said. “Bongino couldn’t take it.”

Kash Patel and Dan Bongino have apparently been growing increasingly frustrated with Bondi for quite some time.

The source familiar with the perspectives of Patel and Bongino say they have been increasingly frustrated with Bondi over a variety of issues, not just the Epstein files. The two men, who have daily interactions with Bondi, have made clear their displeasure, the source said.

National Pulse Editor Raheem Kassam reported:

As for Pam Bondi, she reportedly has no plans to leave, at least of her own accord.

Fox News reported:

Sources close to Bondi say she has no intention of stepping down and is proud of the department and its work. Patel, too, says he is happy with his job and has no intention of leaving, a source in close contact with the director told Fox News Digital.

“President Trump has assembled a highly qualified and experienced law and order team dedicated to protecting Americans, holding criminals accountable, and delivering justice to victims. This work is being carried out seamlessly and with unity,” White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary Harrison Fields told Fox News Digital. “Any attempt to sow division within this team is baseless and distracts from the real progress being made in restoring public safety and pursuing justice for all.”

Later, it was reported by a Daily Wire White House Correspondent that Kash Patel is standing with Dan Bongino through all of this.

In fact, he could resign if Bongino goes.

If it boils down to Bongino or Bondi, I know where I stand.

How about you?
