Gabriel Sterling, Georgia’s Voting System Implementation Manager, has revealed that a “programming error on security keys” prompted the use of “backup emergency ballots” in the pro-Trump Columbia County during the Georgia Senate runoff election today.

According to The National Pulse – The county experiencing “some issues” during the Georgia Senate special election according to Sterling went over 66 percent for President Trump in 2016 and over 62 percent for the same candidate in 2020.

Sterling, who continues to insist that Georgia elections are fine and that anyone who disagrees with him is acting “irrationally,” tweeted about the issue: “Some issues in Columbia Co. There was a programming error on security keys for some locations scanners & poll worker cards. Voting continues on backup emergency ballots. Newly programmed keys&cards are being taken to locations via law enforcement.”

State voting official Gabriel Sterling blamed the problems in Columbia County on a programming error for security keys and poll worker cards. After the problem was realized, newly programmed codes and key cards were being taken to locations via law enforcement. The problems across Columbia County were fixed by 10 a.m., according to Raffensperger’s office.

President Trump, who is no fan of the Georgia Secretary of State official, and so-called Republican, Gabriel Sterling, also tweeted about the incident, specifically calling out Dominion Machines:

Reports are coming out of the 12th Congressional District of Georgia that Dominion Machines are not working in certain Republican Strongholds for over an hour. Ballots are being left in lockboxes, hopefully, they count them.

Never-Trumper Gabriel Sterling clapped back, “And this issue in Columbia Co. was resolved hours ago and our office informed the public about it in real-time. The votes of everyone will be protected and counted. Sorry, you received old intel Mr. President.

Does anyone really trust our elections anymore—especially in the state of Georgia?
