We’re huge supporters of Clarence Thomas and his willingness to stick to the Constitution when rendering decisions for the Supreme Court cases that come before him It’s more than I can say for several of the other justices. Following the rule of law and the Constitution should be foremost on the minds of the justices and NOT any political agenda. Here’s the statement from Justice Thomas after the gay marriage decision:

Actor and gay activist George Takei told Fox 10 Phoenix that Justice Clarence Thomas “is a clown in black face sitting on the Supreme Court.”
“He doesn’t belong there,” Takei said in an interview with Fox 10. “For him to say slaves had dignity. I mean, doesn’t he know that slaves were in chains? That they were whipped, on the back. They were raped. And we’re supposed to call that dignified? This man does not belong on the Supreme Court. He is an embarrassment. He is a disgrace to America.”
Thomas wrote in his dissent to the Supreme Court’s gay marriage decision, “Slaves did not lose their dignity (any more than they lost their humanity) because the government allowed them to be enslaved. Those held in internment camps did not lose their dignity because the government confined them.”
