Last month, Socialist-Democrat Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez revealed her ridiculous “Green New Deal” to Americans. With the exception of her socialist comrades in the Democrat Party, her embarrassing scheme was roundly criticized and mocked, even by many of her allies in the media. Justin Hawkins wrote a piece for Fox News, where he explained the reality of such a scheme. Here’s what Hawkins had to say:

The nonbinding Green New Deal resolution supported by socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez of New York and many fellow Democrats in Congress – including some running for president – makes absolutely no sense. It is a fantasy based on hopes and dreams with no basis in reality.

There’s never been a more economically destructive, job-killing, environmentally harmful, costly and impractical proposal that has drawn so much support from members of Congress and White House hopefuls.

Not only is the Green New Deal impossible to achieve. Just trying to accomplish its absurd and harmful goals could send our nation into another Great Depression, throw millions of Americans out of work, and turn the American Dream into a nightmare.

Only one of the Green New Deal’s goals – reducing income inequality – is realistic. Should our government ever try to seriously implement this crazy proposal, wealth would disappear – we’d all be poverty stricken and America would be turned into a Third World basket case.

Another result of this nightmarish proposal would be a completely different crisis on our borders. Instead of the U.S. government worrying about migrants streaming into America illegally to build better lives, Mexico and Canada would have to deal with millions of Americans fleeing the poverty and hopelessness of the United States.

You could fill a book with all the harmful consequences of the Green New Deal.

One of Ocassio-Cortez’s harshest critics, however, stunned most Americans, as it literally came out of left field…

Greenpeace co-founder Patrick Moore ripped the freshman Democrat congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to shreds in a tweet. Over the past week, it’s been rumoured that the socialist lawmaker, Ocasio-Cortez, has now wrested power from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, with her even more illogical and radical ideology. In response to Ocasio-Cortez’s “New Green Deal,” Moore tweeted:

Pompous little twit. You don’t have a plan to grow food for 8 billion people without fossil fuels, or get the food into the cities. Horses? If fossil fuels were banned every tree in the world would be cut down for fuel for cooking and heating. You would bring about mass death.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez responded by demanding that the Greenpeace co-founder come up with a better plan, reminding him that she and the Democrat majority Congress, and not he, are in charge now.

Yup. If you don’t like the , then come up with your own ambitious, on-scale proposal to address the global climate crisis.

Until then, we’re in charge – and you’re just shouting from the cheap seats.

Charlotte Clymer, from Hillary Clinton’s communications team, chimed in to defend Ocasio-Cortez’s laughable Green New Deal, demanding that anyone who doesn’t agree with Ocasio-Cortez’s green scam, should remain silent and let her destroy our nation unless of course, they have a better (Democrat-Socialist Party approved) solution.

It’s really this simple: if you’ve got a better than what is offering to combat climate change, please show it. If you’re a Member of Congress who can effectively address climate change better than the , show your receipts. Make an effort.

Ellen Schoenfeld spoke for most Americans with her response to Moore’s tweet by thanking him, saying:

Thank you for smacking her in the head with some sense! Not that she’ll understand it… This lunatic is batshit crazy! And it’s frightening to see all the Democrats falling in line behind her! .

The Greenpeace co-founder, lists on his Twitter profile, that he’s a “15 yr. leader” of Greenpeace who “dropped out in ’86 to be The Sensible Environmentalist.” He also claims that he relies on “Science & logic, not sensation & fear.”

What do you think? Do you think we are facing a “man-made global crisis” or is this simply a scheme to destroy the wealthy and middle-class in America? Please share your thoughts with us in the comment section below.
