Over 20 injuries have been reported at a Christmas parade in Waukesha, WI, after an SUV plowed through police barricades and ran down parade-goers. Screams and gunfire were heard at the scene.

A heartbreaking video shows a girl’s dance team performing for the parade-goers when the SUV comes up behind them and begins to run over and crash into people walking in the parade.

Molly Beck of Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported about Waukesha School Board member Corey Montiho, who said his daughter’s dance team was part of the crowd hit by the red Ford Escape SUV.
“They were pom-poms and shoes and spilled hot chocolate everywhere. I had to go from one crumpled body to the other to find my daughter. My wife and two daughters were almost hit.”

Although multiple sources are saying the driver of the red SUV is a black male, police are refusing to release any details of the alleged driver they’ve arrested and taken into custody.
