Kayla Shanee McNeal was charged with murder after violently stabbing her neighbor. Authorities found her neighbor, twenty-nine-year-old Vaneesa Wade, in critical condition resulting from fatal stab wounds inflicted by McNeal after their daughters were involved in a fight.
Wade was rushed to the hospital but died a short time later.
According to the Daily Mail, deputies with the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office responded to Wade’s home in Spencer, northeast of Oklahoma City, on Thursday over reports of a stabbing.

Investigators believe McNeal’s ten-year-old daughter and Wade’s seventeen-year-old daughter, who are believed to be related, began fighting. McNeal reportedly intervened and sent both girls to their homes. Wade’s daughter called her mom, asking her to come home. 

When Wade arrived home, she went across the street to check her mail when a fight broke out between the two mothers, at which point McNeal stabbed her. 

Wade’s twelve-year-old son watched as his mom attempted to make it back into her home, collapsing on the driveway.

McNeal was immediately arrested and charged with first-degree murder with more charges pending, authorities said.

Wade’s mother, Delores Wade, was grieved and worried for her grandson, who witnessed his mother’s death.

‘She should be burying me one day, not me burying my baby. It shouldn’t be like that,’ she said 

‘I got a phone call my 12-year-old grandson called he and said my momma is dead,’ Wade said. ‘It’s going to be a constant reminder every time he comes in and out the house. He’s going to see where his mother fell.

‘She was so outgoing, outspoken,’ Wade said. ‘She was just a beautiful person, inside and out, and I’m truly going to miss my baby.’
