The Muslim freshman lawmaker, Rashida Tlaib, who wrapped herself in a Palestinian flag to celebrate, after she won her seat in the United States Congress, threatened President Trump today, with impeachment.

Tlaib didn’t offer any evidence or cite a reason for introducing a resolution to impeach our sitting President, she apparently doesn’t need a legitimate reason, she just needs to hate him enough and he’ll be impeached. Tlaib, is, after all, the lawmaker who made news when on the eve of her swearing-in ceremony to the US Congress, she brashly revealed to a room full of supporters, that she promised her little boy she was going to “impeach the motherf*cker!” when she got into office.  The “mother of the year” apparently doesn’t want to let the little guy down…

Later in the day, Tlaib turned her hatred toward another Republican and is now suggesting that Congressman Steve Scalise (R-LA) is an Islamophobe while attempting to convince her followers that he’s also a supporter of white supremacy.

Along with her support for her fellow Muslim lawmaker, Tlaib retweeted a tweet by the leftist DC Bureau Chief The Intercept and Young Turks contributor, Ryan Grim. Here’s what Tlaib had to say:

Hard to watch Rep. Scalise demand that Rep. be removed from House Foreign Affairs w/o wondering if it’s steeped in Islamophobia. Ilhan is more than capable of sitting on the committee & making decisions that are in the best interests of her constituents & all Americans.

Grim tweeted this garbage:

Here is Steve Scalise, who literally spoke at a white supremacist convention, saying that should not be getting intelligence briefings, suggesting she is a mole or otherwise dangerous. And Congress plans to rebuke… History will not look kindly on this moment.

The Intercept reporter/leftist activist attempted to label Steve Scalise a “white supremacist” because he happened to speak to group who invited him to discuss lower taxes up athe guy who only two years ago, was left clinging to his life after a Democrat shot him multiple times on a practice softball field over his affiliation with the GOP.

Along with a link to a 2014 Huffington Post article, Grim tweeted about the nothing-burger hit piece he wrote on Scalise with no evidence of his claim: Here’s the receipt on Scalise speaking at the white supremacist convention, which I broke with

The nasty piece by Huffington Post is filled with unsubstantiated claims and suppositions without any evidence to back them up about then-State Rep. Steve Scalise’s appearance at a National/International EURO Workshop on Civil Rights held in Metairie, Louisiana.

“Throughout his career in public service, Mr. Scalise has spoken to hundreds of different groups with a broad range of viewpoints,” Moira Bagley Smith, a spokeswoman for Scalise, said in a statement. “In every case, he was building support for his policies, not the other way around. In 2002, he made himself available to anyone who wanted to hear his proposal to eliminate slush funds that wasted millions of taxpayer dollars as well as his opposition to a proposed tax increase on middle-class families. He has never been affiliated with the abhorrent group in question. The hate-fueled ignorance and intolerance that group projects is in stark contradiction to what Mr. Scalise believes and practices as a father, a husband, and a devoted Catholic.”

Later, Scalise told NOLA.com, “I didn’t know who all of these groups were and I detest any kind of hate group. For anyone to suggest that I was involved with a group like that is insulting and ludicrous.”

An aide to Scalise noted that at the time Scalise had only one aide and that he was speaking to any group that would listen to his argument about “slush funds.” According to a contemporaneous Stormfront post, Scalise referenced such funds in his remarks to the EURO conference.

Muslim American Anila Ali called Omar’s defenders out with this tweet:

What crap! A party that accepts today, may accept tomorrow. Muslims demand resignation.

Ali also responded to an Inside New York TV article about Ilhan Omar (D-MN). She tweeted that Rep. Ilhan Omar needs to step down from her position on the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Ali reminded everyone that Rep. Steve King (R-IA), who has been in public office for decades, was forced to step down after a New York Time article came out suggesting that he was a racist. King claimed the writer twisted his words after their interview and intentionally reframed what he actually said. The media and many members of Congress chose to demand Rep. King step down to avoid controversy. Meanwhile, there are multiple examples of anti-Semitic tweets by Rep. Ilhan Omar, yet somehow, the Democrat Party is backing her up on her anti-Semitic remarks.

The New York Post is now reporting that the decision has been made to allow the anti-Semite congresswoman, Ilhan Omar (D-MN) to keep her seat on the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

Rep. Eliot Engel (D-Bronx), the committee chairman, issued a statement Tuesday night saying that booting her “will not solve the problem of anti-Semitism” and would merely be “retribution.”

The double standard is pretty clear. Perhaps the Democrat Party will wake up, and realize their mistake when they start seeing Jewish voters walking away in 2020.

It was only last week that Tlaib was calling another one of her Republican colleagues a “racist.” Apparently, the freshman congresswoman doesn’t have much control when it comes to making unsubstantiated, vile accusations about people whose politics don’t align with hers.

Here’s the video of Tlaib calling Rep. Mark Meadows a racist.

“Just because someone has a person of color, a black person working for them does not mean they aren’t racist…And it is insensitive, and some would even say that the fact that someone would actually use a prop, a black woman, in this chamber, in this committee…here she took a heavy sigh…is alone racist in itself.” Talib said during the Michael Cohen hearing.
