Yesterday, Swift stunned Americans when announced that she would be supporting Tennessee Democrats in the upcoming election. One of those Democrats Swift has thrown her support behind is the former Tennessee governor, Phil Bredesen, who’s running against the popular GOP congresswoman, Marsha Blackburn. Given her vocal support of the #MeToo movement, the Democrat Senate candidate Phil Bredesen is an odd choice for Swift to throw her support behind, given his history of alleged cover-ups of sexual assault investigations into his top officials during his tenure as the state’s governor.

Does Taylor Swift’s opinion really matter? Are Swift’s days of wild popularity far behind her, as the former popular country star, turned pop star surrounds herself with trashy Trump-bashing celebrities?

Swift made the carefully timed announcement just in time for her to open tomorrow night’s American Music Awards, where she be hailed by the Left as a hero for taking a stand against President Trump and anyone in the GOP who supports him. After the awards show, Swift is heading to Australia, where she won’t have to face the criticism of her fans who support President Trump and the Republican Party.

In May 2018, Taylor Swift, whose fan base includes mostly non-voting age teenagers, was having a hard time finding fans who wanted to buy tickets for her “Reputation” show.

According to the New York Post, Swift buckled by having Ticketmaster turn off resale ticket listings on its interactive venue charts for the first leg of her North American tour, according to music-industry veterans. Ticketmaster turned off resale tickets, so potential fans wouldn’t see mostly empty seats when they attempted to purchase a ticket to her 9-day tour in Glendale, Arizona.

Billboard, which first reported on the delisting, said it occurred on April 27. It added that ticket prices were reduced in many markets to spur sales.

According to the NYP, the lack of sellouts also has some observers wondering if her popularity is waning.

Before and after the 2016 presidential election the media begged Swift to weigh in and support Hillary. To her credit, Swift refused. The media attacked her for her silence.

Only weeks after President Trump won the 2016 election, The Guardian published a scathing article about Taylor Swift, suggesting that her silence about which political candidate she was secretly supporting in the race, was tantamount to supporting President Trump. Because after all, if she were supporting Hillary Clinton, she wouldn’t have kept it a secret, right?

From the Guardian article:

In the year since Donald Trump was elected, the entertainment world has been largely united in its disdain for his presidency. But a notable voice has been missing from the chorus: that of Taylor Swift, the world’s biggest pop star. Her silence is striking, highlighting the parallels between the singer and the president: their adept use of social media to foster a diehard support base; their solipsism; their laser focus on the bottom line; their support among the “alt-right”.

Swift’s songs echo Mr. Trump’s obsession with petty score-settling in their repeated references to her celebrity feuds, or report in painstaking detail on her failed romantic relationships (often, there is crossover). The message is quintessentially Trumpian: everyone is out to get me – but I win anyway.

In an interview with My Lifetime, 18-year-old Swift explained how it’s important to support women running for political office, and explained why she refuses to get involved in politics: “I’m not gonna sit here and go into my political views cause that’s not what I chose to do. I chose to do music” Swift told the interviewer.

Swift quickly changed her tune yesterday, following the confirmation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the US Supreme Court.

Democrats demanded Kavanaugh withdraw his nomination to the court only weeks before the confirmation vote after Kavanaugh was accused of sexually assaulting Dr. Christine Ford over 35 years ago. Never mind that Judge Brett Kavanaugh claims he’s never met, Christine Blasey Ford. Nevertheless, she persisted.  Ford, with the assistance of Democrat Senator Diane Feinstein and radical leftist, activist attorney Debra Katz, came forward with absolutely no evidence of the assault, except 3 witnesses, all of whom claim it never happened. One of those witnesses, Leland Keyser, who was admittedly was a close friend of Ford’s during high school, has since outed Dr. Ford’s current best friend, and former FBI agent, Monika McLean, who allegedly attempted to persuade her to change her story, and say she was at the alleged high school party 35-years ago when the alleged assault took place.

Many victims of sexual assault were enraged that Dr. Ford wasn’t believed. Was one of those women pop-star Taylor Swift, who previously said she would not get involved in politics?

Did her lawsuit against DJ David Mueller, who she alleges grabbed her butt during a photo shoot in 2013 have anything to do with Swift’s decision to jump into politics, immediately following Kavanaugh’s nomination?

On Aug 14, 2017, TMZ reported that a jury ruled radio host David Mueller did indeed commit sexual assault by grabbing Taylor Swift’s butt at a meet and greet after a 2013 Denver concert. The jury gave her $1, which is what she was asking.

Taylor was in court to hear the verdict. She hugged her mom and her attorneys. As for her mom … she cried.

Swift testified during the trial and was unmovable, calling BS on Mueller’s claim that all he did was touch her rib cage. She says he latched on to her bare ass underneath her skirt.

Here’s the photo of Mueller posing with Swift, where Swift claims he grabbed her bare butt:

Mueller had sued Swift for defamation, claiming her allegations cost him his job. The judge threw out his case against Taylor, Friday, saying he never proved during the trial she directly made him lose his job.

Taylor issued this statement, “I want to thank Judge William J. Martinez and the jury for their careful consideration … [my attorneys] and anyone who feels silenced by a sexual assault, and especially anyone who offered their support through this four-year ordeal…”

Taylor went on, “I acknowledge the privilege that I benefit from in life, in society and in my ability to shoulder the enormous cost of defending myself in a trial like this. My hope is to help those whose voices should also be heard. Therefore, I will be making donations in the near future to multiple organizations that help sexual assault victims defend themselves.”

Swift was one of four women chosen to appear on the front of the #MeToo cover for the radical leftist TIME magazine. Swift proudly rocked the image on her popular Instagram page:

Taylor Swift’s admission about supporting Democrats him her home state of Tennessee shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone who follows her, as most of her closest friends are radical leftists who hate President Trump. One of her besties, model Gigi Hadid made a fool of herself when she attacked Melania Trump with a crude imitation of her during an awards show in 2016.

Taylor Swift bestie, model Gigi Hadid was forced to apologize after she mocked the first lady, Melania Trump during her appearance on the American Music Awards, only two weeks after the 2016 election.

Watch:

“I love my husband, President Barack Obama and our children Sasha and Malia,” Hadid said through pouted lips and a fake accent, mocking Melania’s RNC speech that lifted material from a speech given by Michelle Obama.

The model added she’d been working on her impression all week and tried to “get her face right.”

Swift’s other bestie is none other than the very vocal, Trump hating comedian, Lena Dunham.

Will the pop star, whose fans are mostly too young to vote, have an effect on the outcome of the elections in the red state of Tennessee?

The recent poll that shows Marsha Blackburn beating the former Democrat governor, who is plagued by his alleged cover-ups of sexual assault while in office, also shows that Swift may be dead wrong about coming out after Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court. According to the poll, the majority of Tennesse residents are motivated to vote for Republicans in November after the Democrat circus, that attempted to ruin Judge Kavanaugh’s reputation.

The CBS poll shows 55% of voters in Tennessee are more motivated to vote in November, and that 47% wanted Kavanaugh to be confirmed vs. 30% that did not want to see him confirmed.

Not everyone was impressed with Taylor’s decision to voice her political opinions.

Fox News commentator Britt McHenry told her followers to “Never trust a cat person”, then reminded everyone that Swift just endorsed a guy who was accused of covering up multiple cases of sexual assault in his office while Governor of Tennessee in 2005.

McHenry ended her tweet with, “So there’s that”.

Wayne Allyn Root refers to Swift as “Another show business simpleton” who “Just turned off half of her customers with her ignorant bleeding heart liberal views.”
