Meet the “Reverend” Adam Hamilton, running for U.S. Senate from Kansas.
You might think “oh great, we could use some good Christians in Congress” but then you watch his video and loud screeching sounds of the train violently coming off the track start to play.
Because here is the “Reverend” (which I continue to put in scare quotes) talking about how he really just rejects that whole “Jesus is the only way” thing because it just sounds so exclusionary and closed-minded, and he’s quite sure that all the Muslims will get into Heaven anyway.
No joke.

Sorry “Pastor” but that’s a REAL bad take, and very dangerous to be preaching.
So sad.
But there is one bright spot….the people get it!
Yes folks, the good news is that by and large, the true message of the Gospel has gotten out and the people know when they’re being fed bad teaching and they reject it!
Isn’t that incredible?
The people have surpassed the “Pastors” and I love it!

Here’s a quick bio for the “Reverend” and if you live in Kansas may I humbly suggest you consider voting for Roger Marshall?
Adam Hamilton is a Kansas pastor, author and political newcomer who is running as the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate from Kansas. He won the Democratic primary in August 2026 and will face incumbent Republican U.S. Senator Roger Marshall in the November general election.
Hamilton, 61, is a fifth-generation Kansan who grew up in Prairie Village. In 1990, at age 25, he and his wife, LaVon, founded what became the Church of the Resurrection, a United Methodist congregation in the Kansas City area. It has grown into one of the largest United Methodist congregations in the country.
Hamilton has never previously held elected office. He initially explored running for the U.S. Senate as an independent before entering the race as a Democrat. He has positioned himself as a moderate, bridge-building candidate seeking support from Democrats, independents and moderate Republicans.
His campaign for the U.S. Senate has emphasized affordability, healthcare costs, support for Kansas farmers and small businesses, political civility and bipartisan problem-solving.
Hamilton is also a nationally known Christian author and speaker who has written numerous books on Christianity, faith and contemporary social issues. He and his wife have been married for more than four decades and have two daughters and a granddaughter.

Here’s a good one….meet Rev. Dr. Rebecca Todd “Toddie” Peters is an ordained Presbyterian Church (USA) minister, feminist Christian social ethicist, and Professor of Religious Studies (and founding director of the Poverty and Social Justice Program) at Elon University in North Carolina.
That bio really tells you all you need to know, doesn’t it?
And from that bio, you might well expect to get a sermon like this, claiming that Jesus would be supporting abortions if he were on the Earth today:

It’s almost like this lady took one look at Adam Hamilton and said “hold my beer” and then topped him a big one!
We’ll end with this one, the “Reverend” Nancy Jo Dederer preaching about how she just finds it so exclusionary when Jesus says “no one comes to the Father except through me” — so she has rejected that.

I love how she identifies it as a “tone” issue.
Bro, it’s not a “tone” issue, it’s red letter text in the Bible from Jesus himself, and you might want to strongly consider walking this one back.
Just sayin’.
I also love the guy sitting in that throne chair behind her.
He looks equal parts bored and very uncomfortable, doesn’t he?
Blue shirt man: you know this lesbian-looking “Reverend” is preaching heresy up there, and you’re seated there like the Speaker of the House at the State of the Union….time to spring into action and do something my man! Are you really going to sit there all disheveled looking and just let her preach heresy?
