The Daily Wire posted the following on Twitter:

DC Comics is releasing a new comic called “Wonder Women of History,” celebrating different real-world female heroes today. Some of the confirmed ‘heroes’ in this graphic novel include Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rep. Rashida, Tlaib, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, and Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg as well as many others in the entertainment industry. Of course, there will be no conservative women in this issue.

Young-adult novel writer Laurie Halse Anderson assumed the role of editor, along with her all-female creative team, and brought it to life. Anderson and her team have stressed the ‘importance’ of having nonbinary individuals, such as themselves, writing and drawing up this project. It is scheduled to be released into stores in December. Here is the brief summary of the graphic novel:

Not all heroes wear capes.

Wonder Woman has been an inspiration for decades, and while not everyone would choose her star-spangled outfit for themselves, her compassion and fairness are worthy of emulation. We’ll be presenting tales of the real-world heroes who take up Diana’s mantle and work in the fields of science, social justice activism, diplomacy and more!

Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have been in comic books before, but not in ones released by a major graphic novel publisher like DC Comics.

AOC appears in a graphic novel published by Devil’s Due titled: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the Freshman Force: New Party, Who Dis?, with a purpose to ‘to create something that celebrates the fresh new energy and diversity of the stagnated legislative body, and help some good causes at the same time.’ Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg has her own biographical graphic novel titled Female Force: Ruth Bader Ginsburg which was published in 2018.
