Hillary Clinton sat down with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow on Monday night and gleefully laughed about Trump’s new indictment in Georgia.

Maddow started off the interview by saying “All over the country, people are wondering what Hillary Rodham Clinton is thinking watching things unfold in Georgia.”

Clinton replied gleefully “Honestly, I didn’t think that it would be under these circumstances. Yet another set of indictments.”

“All over the country, people are wondering what Hillary Rodham Clinton is thinking watching things unfold in Georgia,” MSNBC host Rachel Maddow said Monday to laughs from Clinton.

“Oh, I can’t believe this,” Clinton said, again breaking out into laughter. “Honestly, I didn’t think that it would be under these circumstances. Yet another set of indictments.”

When asked if she felt satisfaction after warning the country about Trump’s threats to American democracy, Clinton claimed that she felt “great profound sadness” about the possibility of another Trump indictment.

Trump was officially indicted later on Monday night and is facing a series of charges from Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

The Washington Examiner added these details:

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton reacted to the latest indictment against former President Donald Trump Monday evening, saying it brings her “profound sadness” as she laughed about the conclusion of a grand jury investigation.

“Well, it’s hard to believe, I don’t feel any satisfaction. I feel great, you know, just great profound sadness that we have a former president who has been indicted for so many charges that went right to the heart of whether or not our democracy would survive,” Clinton told Rachel Maddow on MSNBC Monday night.
