“No one is above the law!” correct? Well…… some (“the establishment D.C. Swamp”) may be. Actually, for this reason, most are not shocked by the jury’s decision.

Need Any More Proof That America Has a Two-Tiered Justice System? “No one is above the law.” Correct?   Well ….. No worries if you are a leftist, exposed as a liar, and perjured. America has a two-tier justice system. Many of us understand it, and most accept it. Rich versus poor or racial divisions are what we used to perceive as divisions in America. Today if you’re a conservative, support the U.S. Constitution or even President Trump, odds are you will be dealt with harshly. Whereas, if you’re a Leftist, you may receive favorable treatment.

“Further proof there are separate systems of justice in America – one for liberal Democrats and their elite backers, and one for everyone else. Sad,” tweeted Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.).

Sen Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) also joined the criticism, saying, “Michael Sussmann lied to the FBI about working for the Clinton campaign when he brought forward false allegations against Pres. Trump — that Hillary personally approved. Today’s verdict, while deeply disappointing, is not the end to ensuring this never happens in America again.”

Tuesday, in Washington D.C., after a two-week trial and over a day of deliberations, the jury found Michael Sussmann not guilty of making a false statement to the FBI in September 2016 when he said he was not working on behalf of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and technology executive Rodney Joffe when he brought information alleging a Trump-Russia connection.

Former Clinton Campaign counsel Michael Sussmann

The jury found that Special Counsel John Durham’s team had not proven beyond a reasonable doubt that Sussmann’s statement was a lie.

Legal experts said they weren’t surprised by the verdict and that Durham was in a difficult position from the start due to Judge Christopher Cooper’s pre-trial rulings and potential jury bias.

Former federal prosecutor James Trusty noted concerns about the jury, pointing out that three panelists who had voted for Hillary Clinton in the past and contributed to her campaign — including one who also supported U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez — were among the jurors for the former Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann’s trial. In addition, the jury included one federal government employee who told the judge they donated to Democrats in 2016; another a government employee who told the judge they “strongly” dislike former President Trump. However, both jurors told the judge they could be impartial throughout the trial.

One juror had a child on the same high school sports team as Sussmann’s child. The jury also included a mechanic, teacher, illustrator, and more.

Not to worry, though; most jurors selected told Cooper they had not heard of the case before being on the jury.

Durham did not push for the recusal of Obama-appointed Judge Chris Cooper despite the facts of Cooper being professional friends with Sussmenn, Cooper represented former FBI lawyer Lisa Page, and Cooper and his wife were married by Merrick Garland. However, Durham did issue a statement expressing his office’s disappointment.

“While we are disappointed in the outcome, we respect the jury’s decision and thank them for their service,” Durham said. “I also want to recognize and thank the investigators and the prosecution team for their dedicated efforts in seeking truth and justice in this case.”

“I’m shocked the DC Clinton donor jury let Clinton’s lawyer off…HAHAHA just kidding, absolutely no one is shocked,” tweeted former first son Donald Trump Jr. “Hunter Biden off next, then Paul Pelosi, etc., etc. We all know how this goes by now…Only people not tied to the establishment D.C. swamp ever face accountability.”

Seemingly this is more proof that America has a two-tier justice system. A double standard may apply if you are a conservative American who believes in the U.S. Constitution. Protect yourself because the swamp protects itself!
