Yesterday, Rober Unanue, CEO of Goya Foods was a guest of President Trump at the White House, where he took part in a discussion surrounding Trump’s White House Hispanic Prosperity Initiative.

During his visit, Goya spoke to the media, telling them how all Americans are “truly blessed to have a leader like President Trump, who is a builder.” Goya then compared President Trump to his immigrant grandfather, “And that’s what my grandfather did—he was a builder,” he said.

The jackals on the left were not about to let the Hispanic CEO’s praise for President Trump go unpunished. The left immediately sprung into action. Leftists who weren’t tearing down statues, rioting or calling for the defunding of police in local communities, could be found tweeting about the boycott of Goya foods.

The unhinged former Democrat Congressman  Luis Gutierrez went off on a bizarre rant from his pantry, warning the Goya CEO that he would never buy his product again for daring to show his support for President Trump.

Goya CEO Robert Unanue isn’t made of the same cloth, however, as some of the spineless Americans who cave the moment their support for President Trump is revealed.

Goya appeared on Fox News where he explained his support for President Trump and how he’s not going to apologize or back down to the leftist cancel mob.

“We were part of a commission called the White House Hispanic Prosperity Initiative and they called on us to be there to see how we could help opportunities within the economic and educational realm for prosperity among Hispanics and among the United States,” Unanue told “Fox & Friends.”

Unanue said that the United States is the second-largest Hispanic country in the world behind Mexico.

Unanue called the pushback against him visiting the White House “suppression of speech.” Unanue said that he was previously invited to the White House for an event hosted by the Obama administration for Hispanic Heritage Month.

“So, you’re allowed to talk good or to praise one president, but you’re not allowed to aid in economic and educational prosperity? And you make a positive comment and all of a sudden, it is not acceptable,” Unanue said.

Unanue said he is not apologizing for his remarks supporting Trump’s economic policy and would not turn down other future invitations.

“I didn’t say that to the Obamas and I didn’t say that to President Trump.”

For the record, the Goya CEO got plenty of support from conservatives. Here are just a few of the responses from Twitter users who plan to go out of their way to purchase Goya food products.

Kelly McCarthy tweeted: Going out tomorrow to buy 20 cases of their beans and a hundred packets of their Spanish Rice. I’d buy more but my emergency pantry is full of ammo.

Lis, a Hispanic woman and Trump supporter tweeted: I’m going to support even more and buy your foods I will recommend them to everyone that I know as a Latino woman, I love this Country as you do. We’re in a free Country with a free opinion, free speech and free will, thank God, God bless America.
