Graphic video footage shows the moment a homeless Missouri man was fatally shot by a suspect whom he had fought with minutes earlier, according to a report.

The incident unfolded Monday just after 10:00 a.m., in the 700 block of North Tucker Boulevard in St. Louis, when authorities responded to a shooting and found the unidentified victim dead at the scene, Maj. Ryan Cousins said, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Video footage taken by a witness shows the victim sitting on the curb with the suspect standing behind him, seemingly struggling to load his firearm. After nearly 30 seconds, the suspect points the gun at point blank range at the victims’ head, killing him.

Authorities say witnesses saw the victim and suspect arguing near a Shell gas station before the victim ran away. The suspect, however, chased the victim down and shot him, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
