Last night’s 3rd annual Astroworld Festival that should have provided some fun and entertainment for young Americans who are in desperate need of some normalcy in their lives, quickly turned into an unimaginable nightmare.

Gateway Pundit reports – The third-annual Astroworld Festival at NRG Park sold 100,000 tickets within an hour when they went on sale in May. Performers included Travis Scott, Young Thug, Lil Baby, SZA, and a surprise appearance by Drake.

Local station ABC 13 reports that “multiple fans were trampled as hundreds rushed the event’s perimeter Friday afternoon. Once inside, some people began climbing onto portable toilets as security personnel worked to try and contain the crowd.”

Around 50,000 people attended the Astroworld Festival. At around 9 or 9:15, the crowd began to compress toward the front of the stage and that caused panic and people were getting injured. HFD transported 17 people to hospitals. 11 of those transported were in cardiac arrest.

Disturbing videos have been released on social media that show mostly young kids and adults rushing through the entrance as security detectors crash on top of concertgoers. To no avail, police officers on horseback can be seen attempting to stop the rush of fans from making their way into the venue. In what can only be described as idiotic, security officers from the venue appear to be intentionally knocking the rap fans to the ground to prevent them from moving forward.

***Warning*** video is disturbing:

In another video, paramedics can be seen working on victims of the stampede while the music plays in the background.

The concert was canceled.

The latest report from the Houston Police claims 8 people are confirmed dead, 23 hospitalized, one of the injured is only 10 years old. 300 people were treated throughout the day.
