The United States Treasury Department dropped a bombshell today when they reported that our federal government’s deficit for April is an astounding $738 billion in April.

The Washington Examiner reports – The shortfall, which reflects the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, is about three times as large as the second-largest monthly deficit on record. It is larger than the federal deficit for all of fiscal year 2017, which was $665 billion.

Outlays for the month totaled nearly $1 trillion, an increase of $604 billion over April 2019.

Revenues were also lower last month since tax-filing season has been delayed until July 15. Receipts came in at $242 billion compared to the more than $500 billion that was collected in April 2019.

This afternoon, leaders in the Democrat Party shared their new proposal to expand our deficit by another $3 trillion.

Washington Examiner – Senate Republicans flatly rejected a $3 trillion coronavirus aid package House Democrats introduced Tuesday and said they’ll wait to decide whether more legislation is necessary.

“If we reach a decision, along with the administration to move to another phase, that’ll be the time to interact with the Democrats,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell told reporters Tuesday.

“But what you’ve seen in the House is not something designed to deal with reality but designed to deal with aspirations. This is not a time for aspirational legislation. This is a time for a practical response to the coronavirus pandemic.”

The criticism for Pelosi’s grotesque $3 trillion bill didn’t stop with Republicans in the Senate.

Republican Rep. Ralph Norman (SC) won the internet with an incredible video showing the over 70 appropriations in excess of a billion dollars each that are spelled out in the proposed $3 TRILLION Democrat bill that’s a whopping 1800 pages.

Rep Norman ends his tweet by asking a very good question: When you walk out of secret negotiations with an 1800 page, $3 trillion bill that has no chance of becoming law, why is that portrayed as an accomplishment?

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, summed up the 3 TRILLION dollar bill as a “1,800-page liberal wishlist” that was “crafted behind closed doors.” McCarthy said the bill is a “bailout of blue states” and includes “giveaways for billionaires.” McCarthy adds: “This spectacle has no chance of becoming law.”

Leave it to the Democrats to use a health crisis to turn America into a Socialist nation.
