Today, while addressing fellow members of Congress from the House floor, Republican Representative Bob Good (VA) began by addressing Speaker Nancy Pelosi as “Person Speaker” instead of “Madame Speaker,” which is the tradition.
“Thank you, Person Speaker. I say ‘Person Speaker’ because I’m not a biologist,” Rep Good explained.

Rep. Good was, of course, delivering a jab at the Democrat Party’s choice for the next US Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, who told Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) that she couldn’t define “woman,” as she isn’t a biologist. Ketanji Brown-Jackson has been the butt of thousands of jokes and memes since telling the US Senator she was incapable of defining “woman.”
