Last week, Joe Biden became the butt of jokes by both Republicans and Democrats after he told what many believed was a falsehood about how, in his youth, he dealt with gang members at the local swimming pool in Wilmington, DE, where he worked as a lifeguard in an integrated pool in 19… Many believed the “hair sniffing” Democrat presidential frontrunner manufactured the story as a way to make him appear “tough” to the mostly black crowd of supporters. Biden’s mental health has been called into question by both political parties, as he appears to be frequently confused and disoriented on the campaign trail.

In the now-viral video, that took place at the Joseph R. Biden Jr. Aquatic Center, Biden boasted, “This was the diving board area, and I was one of the guards. Corn Pop was a bad dude, and he ran a bunch of bad boys. Back in those days, you see how things have changed, if you used pomade in your hair you had to wear a bathing cap.”

Biden recalled how Corn Pop was up on the diving board and wouldn’t listen to him. Biden said he told the gangster to get off the diving board or he would “drag him off.” Biden then claimed he called the gangster “Esther,” a term he used in reference to the famous swimmer, Esther Williams.

“Who the hell tells a story in front of a bunch of kids about rusty straight razors and almost fighting “Corn Pop” with a chain?
