Representative Ilhan Omar (D-Mn.) is one of the most progressive members of the House, joining a group of Representatives dubbed “The Squad”.

Omar is only the second Muslim Representative in United States history, after former Rep. Keith Ellison.

Minnesota has the largest Somali population in the United States, with approximately 43,000 Somalis living in the state.

Omar, who is also Somalian, has often used her faith and ethnicity to accuse her opponents of racism and Islamophobia.

As it turns out, Somalis in Minnesota dislike her and do not believe that she represents them because of her far-left views on social issues.

At a concert in Minneapolis that was held to celebrate Somalia’s Independence Day, thousands of people in the crowd who were mostly Somali booed her and hurled epithets at her.

“Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) was booed and jeered off the stage by a crowd of thousands of Somali-Americans at a concert in Minneapolis Saturday night celebrating Somali Independence Day that featured popular Somali singer Suldaan Seeraar.

The audience at the Target Center booed and cursed Omar for a reported ten minutes even as others on stage tried to calm them down. Cries of, “Get out!”, “Get lost!”, “Get the f*** out of here!” and “Shut the f*** up” could be heard.

Shukri Abdirahman, who dropped out of this year’s GOP primary to take on Omar, reposted the video but with harsh commentary, “Ilhan Omar’s BOOOD by nearly 10K SOMALIS at a sold out, highly anticipated Somali music concert at Target Center in Minneapolis! This’s what she gets for trading her Godly, Conservative values for the sinful LGBTQIA’s & the promiscuous abortionists. LET’S GO ILHAN!”
