Last week, Republican Sen. Rand Paul (KY) blasted Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar (MN), claiming she’s “unappreciative” of the country that welcomed her as an immigrant and elected her to Congress.
WAVE-3 News spoke with Senator Paul on Monday. They asked him about a recent tweet by President Donald Trump in which he suggests certain lawmakers go back to the “crime-infested places from which they came.”
Trump tweeted:
“So interesting to see ‘Progressive’ Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly and and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!”
Paul wasted no time letting the reporter know his feeling about the unappreciative Somali immigrant turned US House member.
“I’m sort of dumbfounded how unappreciative she is of our country,” Paul said. “She says this is terrible, a place without justice and all this. She’s a congresswoman. She got here as a refugee 20 years ago. She’s elected to congress. I can’t imagine a better country that elected her to congress and she badmouths our country.”
Sara Carter posted a Breitbart News video on Twitter showing Senator Rand Paul explaining why he’d be willing to help buy Rep. Omar a ticket to Somali so she “can look and maybe learn a little bit about the disaster that is Somalia,”
Al Jazeera reporter, and Ilhan Omar fanboy, Mehdi Hasan retweeted the video, attempting to tie Paul’s father, Ron Paul to white nationalism.
.@RandPaul on @IlhanMN: "I’m willing to contribute to buy her a ticket to visit #Somalia… she can look and maybe learn a little bit about the disaster that is Somalia." “After she’s visited Somalia she might come back and appreciate America more.” https://t.co/g4Hmw0J1HH pic.twitter.com/RKjSASWbne

Hollywood “has never-been” Tom Arnold, retweeted Hasan’s tweet, adding his support for Senator Paul’s neighbor who was found guilty of a felony when he violently attacked Paul while he was doing yard work outside of his home. Paul ended up suffering from potentially life-threatening injuries and spent a considerable amount of time in the hospital, recovering from the brutal attack.
Arnold tweeted: “Imagine being Rand Paul’s next-door neighbor and having to deal with @RandPaul lying cowardly circular whiney bullcrap about lawn clippings. No wonder he ripped his toupee off.
U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar, who frequently whines about threats she receives, retweeted Arnold’s justification of the violent attack against Senator Paul.
Rep Lee Zeldin, a Jewish Republican lawmaker from New York, who frequently calls out Omar for her anti-Semitic remarks, retweeted Omar’s disgusting retweet of the “has-never-been” actor, saying: Ilhan Omar’s brilliant Monday idea is RTing this celebration of a violent physical assault on a fellow Member of Congress who was actually attacked. Incredibly gross.
All good w you @SpeakerPelosi? Aren’t you right next to her right now on a CODEL abroad? Do something. Speak! Hold your own Members to the same standards you love to hold others.

Of course, Speaker Pelosi can’t be bothered with addressing Omar’s retweet celebrating violence against a sitting US Senator, she’s busy on a very important overseas trip in Venice, dining at the elite “Harry’s Bar” with a few of her taxpayer-funded friends.
Living high in Venice: shared by a friend, taken at the swanky hang out of the elite Harry’s Bar yesterday, Speaker Pelosi, Reps Omar, Jackson Lee, Cummings just out of frame. Joys of #progressiveprivilege @IWV pic.twitter.com/Yjl6pKSZNh

Last year, B-Actor Tom Arnold (and we’re being generous) got a visit from the Secret Service over his vile a threatening tweet about beheading President Trump. First, Arnold challenged President Trump to a fight. Arnold’s next tweet warned President Trump that “next time Kathy won’t be holding a fake head!” Arnold’s tweet was in reference to the image that ended comedian Kathy Griffin’s career, when she held a bloodied and severed head of President Trump up for the cameras, shortly after his inauguration.
Gabe Hoffman reminded Arnold that it’s a federal crime to threaten the President of the United States, along with screenshots of his vile and disgusting tweets.
Hey @TomArnold, it’s a Federal crime to threaten POTUS @realDonaldTrump
You asked him to fight you, and responded with “next time Kathy Griffin won’t be holding his fake head”, which suggested you would kill him in your proposed fight @SecretService pic.twitter.com/Mn3A9iOSRG

The arrogant Arnold treated their visit as a sort of badge of honor, sharing his videotaped visit with them on YouTube.
On June 19, 2018, Arnold tweeted about protesting Trump at the White House. He also mentioned that President Trump’s wife, Melania takes their 11-year-old son, Barron to school, and that “We want to have a word with her.” Arnold then threatened to go to the school where Ivanka and Jared Kushner’s kids attend: “If we see babies tomorrow we’re going to Kushner’s kid’s school. It didn’t stop there, however. Arnold mocked Don Jr.’s five small children, as he made a sick attempt at humor, saying they’re “already working at Hooters so we’ll protest there for lunch.”
Only one year ago, Arnold threatened: “It ain’t over until the children are safe & the Trump Administration is not.”
Executive Order my ass. Donald Trump & Jeff Sessions are lying white trash child abusing monsters. It ain’t over until the children are safe & the Trump Administration is not. https://t.co/oHyqJr5kdr

B-actor, Tom Arnold, who’s retweeted threatening tweets about killing PresidentTrump, tweeted calls for threats against Trump’s family and his administration, is the guy U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar is retweeting…let that sink in.
