On Tuesday, Democrat Representative Ilhan Omar (MN) appeared at a rally at the Capitol with other #ResistTrump activists. During the rally, the Black Lives Matter activists called for President Trump to be censured for calling her out on her disguting remarks at a CAIR event last month in Los Angeles. During the event, Omar spoke to the room of fellow Muslims and discussed how to fight back against anyone who questions your faith, and loyalty to the country. At one point, Omar mentioned how Muslims should handle being a victim after “some people did something” on 9-11. Omar was referring to the murder of almost 3,000 innocent people at the hands of Islamic terrorists.

In addition to her startling remarks about the 9-11 Islamic terrorists, lawmakers recently called for Omar to be censured over her anti-Semitic remarks. But that was last month, this month, Omar is lecturing Americans, specifically Trump supporters, calling them racists, xenophobes and Islamophobes. It’s okay, she can call you anything she wants without any repercussions, Omar checks almost every victim boxes that protects her from saying just about anything, including anti-Semitic remarks. As Omar points out in her speech, she’s a black, female, Muslim, immigrant—in other words, she’s like teflon when it comes to being held responsible for her words or actions.

Breitbart News  reports – Omar spoke at the event in praise of her homeland of Somalia and said the president and his Party are responsible for recent attacks on synagogues and mosques.

“At this moment, the occupant of the White House and his allies are doing everything that they can to distance themselves and misinform the public from the monsters that they created that is [sic] terrorizing the Jewish community and the Muslim community,” Omar said.

Omar stood next to Angela Davis on the stage, an activist who gained notoriety in the 1960s and 70s while working with the Communist Party USA and the Black Panther Party and whose involvement in the armed takeover of a California courtroom resulted in four deaths.

Authorities linked her to the purchase of weapons that were later used by three inmates who took a judge and juror hostage during their trial in 1970 for killing a prison guard.

Law enforcement officials responded with a barrage of bullets and the inmates and judge died. Davis was accused of providing weapons used in the incident and was put on the FBI list until she was captured in 1972. She was later acquitted at trial.

Omar said she is criticized because she is a Muslim woman.

“I also happen to be a refugee and immigrant from what they call one of the shithole countries,” Omar said, mocking the president for his alleged comments about war-torn countries like Somalia that drive their people out.

“The reality is that shithole country raised a very proud, dignified person,” Omar said. “Our circumstances may not always be perfect but that doesn’t lessen our humanity and I am not in the business of defending mine.”

Omar was not as complimentary of the United States.

“This is not going to be the country of the xenophobics,” Omar said. “This is not going to be the country of white people.”

“This is not going to be the country of the few,” Omar said. “This is the country of the many.”

“This is the country that was founded on the history of Native American genocide, on the backs of black slaves but also by immigrants,” Omar said.
