A Polish pastor’s Good Friday church service in Calgary, Canada turned ugly when a know-it-all ‘Karen’ Health Inspector showed up to stop the Easter weekend service on private church property. But, then, a beautiful thing happened.
In the video, below, pastor Artur Pawlowski is seen being harassed and intimidated unjustly by multiple armed police officers and at least one public health inspector. We do not know her name, so we will lovingly call her ‘Karen.’ Many viewers will sympathize with Mr. Pawlowski’s plight as, when politely asked to leave, Karen just keeps talking and talking…and talking, lecturing him on how he shouldn’t be having a church service during the beautiful sunny Easter weekend.
Instead of capitulating in the face of this blatant authoritarianism, force, and corruption by the Health Department, Pawlowski repeatedly tells Karen to leave his establishment.
But, she just won’t stop talking. Lecturing. Mumbling through her mask. We all know how ‘Karens’ can be…
Pastor Artur Pawlowski is a hero who stands up for himself, his congregation, and for the individual liberty of all people by shoeing out these tyrannical toilet bugs and calling them what they truly are: “Gestapo.” “Nazis.”
We all want to support police. They are supposed to be the line of law enforcement between a constitutional society and anarchy. But, officers like these make it very hard when they choose to enforce unjust, amoral, and illegal rules that are created by fiat on a whim by authoritarians rather than through lawful and just legal process that respects constitutional law–whether American or Canadian.
We must organize coalitions of local people to elect and put pressure on local sheriffs and their law enforcement to shun this pestilence of Covid Karen-ism through health departments in the Western world.
