The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) has been delivering the truth about immigration with statistics and studies showing the effects of immigration on America.

One of the key people at CIS is Jessica Vaughan who is a no-nonsense expert on immigration.

She just tweeted to President Trump with a great question about his delay on ICE raids. The problem is that the 1 million people scheduled to be removed have already been given final deportation papers. There is no question about asylum or any other way these people could be allowed to stay in the US. So why is President Trump delaying the removal of these people? Great question!

Wow! It appears as though the answer to this delay has just been tweeted with a statement from ICE below…Is our DHS Secretary now confirmed as a Deep State leaker? It sure looks like it.

It’s not clear to me what difference passing an asylum bill would make in the cases of people who were denied asylum and who absconded. They are still deportable and still should be removed. – Jessica Vaughan

The tweet that was just put out by ICE tells us the rest of the story on why Trump delayed the raids:

TRUMP’S ANNOUNCEMENT OF DELAY AND THOMAS HOMAN’S ANGRY ACCUSATION THAT THE DHS SECRETARY LEAKED:

President Trump just made an announcement that he’s delaying ICE raids by two weeks because Democrats requested it. The raids had been set to begin on Sunday early morning.

PRESIDENT TRUMP TWEETED: At the request of Democrats, I have delayed the Illegal Immigration Removal Process (Deportation) for two weeks to see if the Democrats and Republicans can get together and work out a solution to the Asylum and Loophole problems at the Southern Border. If not, Deportations start!

This is an interesting development because former ICE Director Thomas Homan accused the DHS Secretary Kevin McAleenan of resisting raids on illegal aliens who’ve been given final deportation orders. Homan also alluded that McAleenan leaked information on the raids to The Washington Post:

On Saturday morning’s Fox and Friends, Tom Homan went off on acting DHS Secretary Kevin McAleenan accusing him of resisting the ICE raids and alluded that he leaked the information about the raids to The Washington Post

It’s hard to believe that Democrats will finally come to the table. Pelosi tweeted “delay is welcome” so that’s not a good sign:

It’s disappointing that President Trump isn’t following through ASAP with deporting 1 million illegals who have been given final deportation orders.

It sounds like the DHS Secretary needs to go. Perhaps Thomas Homan should take his place but Homan still hasn’t accepted President Trump’s offer to be the Border Czar.

We are already in crisis mode:

“Overwhelmed on a daily basis” – Top border officials reveal that illegal migrants from 52 countries have crossed into our country from the southern border & that 100K evaded capture just this year alone.
