On Thursday, CNN released never-before-seen footage from inside the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. This footage was recorded by Nancy Pelosi’s daughter, Alexandra Pelosi, who is a documentary filmmaker.

Although the left-wing news outlet wanted to use this dramatic footage to reignite anger about the Jan. 6 Capitol riots, all it really shows is that Pelosi staged a camera crew inside the Capitol building before the protests even began.

Meanwhile, Pelosi also stationed her son outside the Capitol to record the crowd of Trump supporters.

Gateway Pundit pointed out the absurdity of CNN releasing this highly-manipulated and staged footage, while the DOJ holds on to its extensive footage of the event:

“To this day, the Department of Justice (DOJ) has refused to release all 14,000 hours of tape from January 6 to the public, because doing so would compromise their authority to prosecute innocent J6 political prisoners.”

Former political consultant Julie Kelly also addressed the staged footage, asking, “Are professional photog, filmmakers allowed at Fort McNair, the secured location where Congressional leaders were evacuated to that afternoon?”

Kelly also questioned why both Pelosi and Mitch McConnell refused to call the National Guard in ahead of that day, as well as during the rioting.

In part of the video released by CNN, Pelosi is recorded threatening physical violence against President Trump. In the highly-staged, professionally-filmed footage, Pelosi says,

“I hope [Trump] comes. I’m gonna punch him out! This is my moment. I’ve been waiting for this – for trespassing on the Capitol grounds. I’m gonna punch him out and I’m gonna go to jail, and I’m gonna be happy.”
