Iowa professor Jeff Klinzman has resigned from his position at Kirkwood Community College after threatening posts were found on his Facebook page aimed at Christians and Trump supporters. The far-left professor also publicly admitted he’s part of Antifa, a group of masked cowards who use violence to attack the free speech rights of conservatives. One of the posts on the professor’s page talks about how he wanted to “clock” President Trump with a baseball bat.

In addition to being a member of the violent Antifa group, Klinzman is also a fan of Bernie Sanders, Barack Obama, and Michelle Obama.

“I affirm that I am Antifa,” Jeff Klinzman, an adjunct English professor of nearly ten years at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, told local ABC affiliate KCRG.

The news station dug up multiple posts from Mr. Klinzman on his personal Facebook page and the Facebook page for “Iowa Antifa,” where he criticized President Trump and the evangelical Christians who voted for him.

One post on his personal page included a poem that said, “Kill them all and bury them deep in the ground,” KCRG reported. Mr. Klinzman reportedly went on to explain, “It’s not pretty, and I’m not proud, but seeing what evangelical Christians are doing to this county and its people fills me with rage, and a desire to exact revenge.”

On the Iowa Antifa page, responding to a tweet from Mr. Trump that called Antifa “Radical Left Wack Jobs who go around hitting… people over the heads with baseball bats,” Mr. Klinzman wrote, “Yeah, I know who I’d clock with a bat…,” KCRG reported.

The Secret Service told the news station that they were aware of Mr. Klinzman’s posts but would not confirm whether they had opened an investigation.

The Patriot Hill published a disturbing post that appeared on Klinzman’s Facebook page: “Almost got run off the road last Saturday by an angry kid. Received my permit to purchase a pistol Wednesday. Next stop: a gun store for a .38 snub-nose.”

A Kirkwood spokesman declined to comment on the situation but said that the safety of students and staff was a top priority at the school.

Mr. Klinzman stood by his comments when contacted by KCRG but said he would be willing to apologize to any Christians he offended who also share his political outlook.

KWWL is reporting that Kirkwood Community College has announced that adjunct professor Jeff Klinzman of the English Department has resigned.

Klinzman recently stated that he is a supporter of Antifa. Kirkwood Community College also realized that some of these opinions were expressed going back to 2012.

The school has stated that the professor was not removed due to his views or his right to express them. Kirkwood says their decision is based solely on their commitment to harboring a safe learning environment for our students, faculty, and staff.

The college has also stated:

However, when the expression of views by him or any member of our community is perceived as placing public safety in jeopardy or hampers our ability to deliver on our mission, we will always do what is necessary in service to our students’ pursuit of a higher education.
