On Tuesday, just one day after the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago, Donald Trump released a video on Truth Social that assures the American people that he will not stop fighting for them despite what his opponents throw his way.
The video, titled “A Nation in Decline,” is not only an inspiration to his supporters but is yet another indication of his intentions to run for President again in the 2024 elections.
“We are a nation in decline,” begins the video. “We are a failing nation.”
Trump acknowledges the crises that America faces right now, including having the highest inflation in over 40 years and the highest energy cost in its history.
He then brings up the United States’ failed withdrawal from Afghanistan, saying,
“We are a nation that surrendered in Afghanistan, leaving behind dead soldiers, American citizens, and $85 billion worth of the finest military equipment in the world.”
“We are a nation that has weaponized its law enforcement against the opposing political party like never before,” Trump adds, giving a nod to the way the Left has turned its resources – such as the FBI – against members of the GOP and its supporters.
Trump, of course, criticizes the way the Left has taken over all mainstream social platforms and created a media that delivers biased, fake news.
“We are a nation where free speech is no longer allowed, where crime is rampant like never before, where the economy has been collapsing, where more people died of COVID in 2021 than in 2020.”
Then, as a picture of a defeated Joe Biden appears on the screen, Trump says, “We are a nation that, over the past 2 years, is no longer respected or listened to all around the world. We are a nation that is hostile to liberty and freedom and faith.”
“We are a nation that, in many ways, has become a joke.”
The video shifts to an uplifting note, as Trump assures his followers that “soon we will have greatness again.”
“We will not bend. We will not break. We will not yield… As long as we are confident and united, the tyrants we are fighting will not stand even a little chance. Because we are Americans and Americans kneel to God, and God alone. And it is time to start talking about greatness for our country again.”
As the video concludes, the quote “…the best is yet to come” by ‘President Donald J. Trump’ appears on the screen.
Instead of backing down, he’s doubling down and letting people know that he will not cower to the pressure of the Left. He will keep fighting to restore America’s greatness before we are so far gone that we can’t pull ourselves out.
