I want to be very clear at the onset of this article that I am not saying Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu is dead, nor do I think it’s most likely that he’s dead.

BUT…one thing is true: Israel has spent the last three days posting “proof of life” videos desperately trying to convince you he’s alive.  He’s definitely alive, we promise.

And I do feel as though this is starting to fall into the “thou doth protest too much” camp, but that’s just my opinion.

I’m just going to show you what we know for sure right now as fact and let you decide what you think for yourself.

And now here we are on Day 3, with more videos and photos posted to show you he’s definitely alive.

Except….the Internet still isn’t exactly buying it, and I’ll show you why.

Here’s the latest, as you can see it’s posted by Netanyahu’s own account:

So it’s Mike Huckabee with Netanyahu to really prove it’s real, because that’s Mike Huckabee after all!

Again, maybe the video is real and this is case closed, but I’ll tell you one thing….the video is CRINGE!

I agree with MJ on this one, this feels REALLY “fake and ghey”.

But then the Internet started to notice that Huckabee’s face seems to have a really weird “glitch” near the beginning.

Then they posted this photo outside to again convince you he’s definitely alive:

But that’s not all….

The official @IsraeliPM account posted this today claiming it was Netanyahu issuing military orders today, March 17, 2026.

The only problem?

It’s not new.

It’s from February 4th.

Grok confirms the picture is old, but Israel tried to pass it off as current.  Now THAT is actually very suspicious:

The two images are identical in every detail:

  • Same black puffer jacket and blue shirt

  • Same note-taker in a blue sweater to his right

  • Identical room layout (Israeli flag, bookshelves, glass table, etc.)

Side-by-side comparisons circulating on X and verified by multiple observers show a perfect match — no differences in lighting, positioning, or attire.

Why This Matters

The Prime Minister’s Office reused an old stock photo from over six weeks ago and gave it a brand-new caption tied to today’s events. This has fueled widespread skepticism and death/ absence rumors (Netanyahu has reportedly missed multiple recent security cabinet meetings).

News outlets like NDTV, WION, and others have already noted the reuse, and even prior analyses flagged it immediately. No new photo was taken today — it’s a clear repurpose of the February 4 Haaretz original. The claim in the post you shared is 100% accurate.

But as usual, just because I do find a lot of this really strange, I’m not on Iran’s side.

Are they posting fake AI videos trying to prove he’s alive?

That’s what many believe, and the speculation is only growing stronger the more we see.

Yesterday, I brought you this report:

And now today they have released two new videos, but neither one is helping the cause.

The first was this one, where he’s in the exact same outfit as the day before and Internet sleuths quickly noticed that his ring is visible at the beginning but suddenly disappears near the end of the video.

They claim it’s because of a “blur filter” that blurs the background of the video, except….the background looks perfectly clear and crisp.

The only thing “blurred” or missing is the ring.

I don’t see any blur.

I just see a missing ring:

Let’s just say if these videos were intended to prove he’s alive, they are having the opposite affect:

Then there is the content of what he’s saying….

At one point he says:

Netanyahu: “We’re following the instructions and guidelines exactly, and together we’re winning.”

That almost sounds like something you’d say back during COVID, doesn’t it?

And why are so many people in his videos still wearing COVID masks?

Have you noticed that?

Isn’t that strange?

A new video allegedly featuring Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu is going viral today with many claiming it is “clearly AI”.

But is it?

I’ll walk you through a full Fact-Check from everything I can find and then you can decide for yourself.

First…here’s the video:

I’ll explain exactly why people think it’s “AI” in just a moment (maybe you caught some of them as you watched?) but first I have to explain the history here because the story doesn’t actually start with this video.

The story starts with reports that Netanyahu’s bunker had been hit by Iranian drones.

That has not been fully confirmed and there it is expected Netanyahu would have been in such a fortified depth that even if hit he would not be impacted.

But then time passed and Netanyahu had not been seen for a while and people started to get nervous that he had not made any appearances.

Then we got this video:

Which might seem normal enough on its face, but at the 34 second mark, we got this image, which many are saying looks like he has six fingers on his right hand.

Here’s a closer look, I zoomed in:

It does seem a bit like the “pinky” finger is in quite a strange spot….

But, we have incredible technology at our fingertips these days and so I turned to Grok and asked it to enhance the photo for me.  Don’t modify it, just enhance the resolution.

The results were stunning from a technical standpoint.

I did it twice and got two nearly identical results that much more clearly show what we’re seeing here:

Ok, so I’m going to call that one debunked, at least from my perspective.

But because people were going crazy claiming he had six fingers (a clear sign of AI generated video), Netanyahu released this new video at the coffee shop.

And that’s why you see him hold up both hands and show he has five fingers on each hand.

Wow, what a time to be alive, that you have to hold up your hand in a video to prove you’re not AI and to prove you don’t have six fingers, even though I think most of the major AI models have now moved past the 6-finger error, so I don’t know how reliable that is as an indicator anymore.

But now in the new video, people are obsessed with how his coffee cup seems to be filled to the absolute brim, and he grabs it pretty quickly and at a bit of an angle, and none of the coffee spills out.

That’s the biggest one to me, it does seem quite strange that the coffee held together so well as he moved that cup around.

They also claim the coffee level doesn’t really go down after he drinks it:

Then you have the people saying it just flat out doesn’t look like him:

He does look pretty “soft” and golden, almost like someone applied a filter to the video.

Same guy?

Grok says yes, same guy in all three:
