We know for sure that fired former FBI Director Comey is a slippery guy with a snarky social media record. He’s known to tweet to different people with veiled threats. It was his turn today to be on the receiving end:
Comey got into a back and forth on Twitter with Trey Gowdy today. It ended up with Gowdy winning the battle with a warning to Comey.
Gowdy appeared on Martha McCallum (see video below) and described Comey as an “amnesiac with incredible hubris” after he didn’t answer over 200 questions that were asked during his testimony before Congress.
Comey posted on Twitter a snarky reply to the comments from Gowdy:
“I was worried this wouldn’t be a dignified, open-minded search for the truth.”
Did you notice the typo? woudn’t vs. wouldn’t – we’re just pointing this out because the president is slammed if he makes any spelling mistakes on Twitter. It happens to everyone.

“Director Comey, I was disappointed in what you didn’t remember, but even more disappointed in what you never knew. I’ll see you on Monday.”

Comey will be testifying again on Monday so Gowdy sent a shot across the bow to warn Comey.
INTERVIEW WITH FOX NEWS:
It’s interesting that James Comey was able to write a book but can’t remember most of what was asked of him by members of Congress. Isn’t he also supposed to have a photographic memory?
