On Tuesday, James O’Keefe released a bombshell video of an undercover reporter getting a BlackRock Inc. recruiter to admit his company controls U.S. politicians and influences global markets.

BlackRock is one of the world’s largest asset management companies and is a top shareholder in some of the world’s largest publicly traded companies. It has been called “the most influential financial institution in the world.”

The O’Keefe Media Group has released a video showing just how powerful this company really is.

Serge Varlay, a recruiter at BlackRock, was secretly recorded by an undercover journalist for O’Keefe Media Group. Varlay revealed some of his company’s secrets and said that they control various aspects of politics and the world economy, effectively suggesting BlackRock could “run the world.”

Addressing the company’s intentional secrecy, Varlay told the journalist, “[BlackRock doesn’t] want to be in the news. They don’t want people to talk about them. They don’t want to be anywhere in the radar… I don’t know, but I suspect it’s probably because it’s easier to do things when people aren’t thinking about it.”

Varlay also revealed that BlackRock, along with other financial institutions, is able to “buy” politicians.

“All of these financial institutions, they buy politicians,” said Varlay. “You can take this big f*** ton of money and but people… It’s not who is the president, it’s who is controlling the wallet of the president.

“The hedge funds, BlackRock, the banks… These guys run the world.”

“You can buy your candidates,” he continued. “First, there’s the senators. These guys are f***ing cheap. You got 10 grand? You can buy a senator. I could give you $500K right now, no questions asked. Are you gonna do what needs to be done?… It doesn’t matter who wins, they’re in my pocket.”

The recruiter also addressed the financial benefit of war, specifically the Russia-Ukraine war, saying that it is “good for business.”

Giving an example of how war benefits them, Varlay said, “[If] Russia blows up Ukraine’s grain silos, the price of wheat’s gonna go mad up. The Ukrainian economy is tied very largely to the wheat market – global wheat market.”

“Prices of bread, you know, literally everything goes up and down,” added Varlay. “This is fantastic if you’re trading. Volatility creates opportunity to make profit. War is really f***ing good for business. It’s exciting when s**t goes wrong, right?”

Varlay also shared that “BlackRock manages $20 trillion,” calling this amount of money “incomprehensible.”
