George P. Bush the son of Jeb Bush just announced he will vote for President Trump in November.

He says he plans to formally endorse the president’s reelection as he did in 2016, citing the economy and Trump’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Bush who is the nephew of George W. Bush spoke to the Dallas Morning News about his endorsement:

“President Trump is the only thing standing between America and socialism. Even in a global pandemic where we have had to take unprecedented measures to protect public health, the economy is already returning. It’s clear, America and Texas will continue to be stronger than ever.”

The endorsement by the nephew of former President George W. Bush comes one day after Bush’s spokesman denied an article from the NYT that alleged he would not be voting for Trump in 2020.

The spokesman said the New York Times article is “completely made up.” No surprise.
