In a messy press conference on Wednesday night, Joe Biden said that he cannot guarantee that his administration will be able to fix the inflation issue currently plaguing the United States.

Biden kicked off the press conference by announcing that he had a specific list of which reporters he was allowed by his handlers to call on, and added that they were each only permitted to ask him one question. The President of the United States isn’t able to answer any tough, unexpected questions anymore.

Holding up a piece of paper, Biden said, “Now I’ve been given a list of ten people that I’m supposed to call on and you’re all supposed to ask me one question, but I’m sure you’ll ask me more.”

During the press conference, Biden addressed the pressing issue of inflation that is weighing on America’s economy right now. Instead of offering a hopeful response, our fearless leader said that he “can’t guarantee” that his administration will be able to solve the inflation crisis.

“What I can’t do is I can’t guarantee that we’re going to be able to get rid of inflation,” said Biden.

At the press conference, Biden was also asked about Elon Musk and whether he is considered to be a “national security threat.”

“Mr. President, do you think Elon Musk is a threat to U.S. national security?” asked a reporter. “And, should the U.S. with the tools you have investigate his joint acquisition of Twitter with foreign governments which include the Saudis?”

Laughing, Biden responded, “I think that Elon Musk’s… cooperation and/or technical relationships with other countries is worthy of being looked at.”

“How?” the reporter asked.

“There’s a lot of ways…” said Biden, then trailed off and quickly called on the next reporter.

In another odd moment during the press conference, Biden was asked how he will work to change people’s opinion of the direction the country is headed in.

“You mentioned that Americans are frustrated,” said a reporter. “In fact, 75% of voters say the country is headed in the wrong direction… What, in the next two years, do you intend to do differently to change people’s opinion of the direction of the country? Particularly as you contemplate a run for President in 2024?”

Biden had a very simple answer to this question: “Nothing.”

“They’re just finding out what we’re doing,” said Biden. “The major piece of legislature we passed… takes time to be recognized.”

So, basically, he has no plans to better the country that he is supposed to be the leader of, and he has no concern that most Americans are not confident it the direction the country is headed.
