During President Joe Biden’s visit to Ireland, his son Hunter Biden had to step in and help him answer a child’s question that he was struggling to respond to.

On Wednesday, Joe attended a meet-and-greet at the Dublin Airport with embassy families and firefighters.

President Biden asked the children if they would like to ask him any questions, and one kid asked, “What’s the top step to success?”

Not fully understanding what the kid said, Biden had him repeat the question.

Once he heard the question, he replied, “Oh, well, making sure that we don’t all have COVID.”

Then, confusing himself, he said, “What- why- what are we talking about here?”

Hunter then had to step in to help out his mentally deteriorating father, saying, “If you can – what’s the – what’s the key to success?”

Finally understanding the question, Biden was able to give a less-than-coherent answer to the child.

“Oh, what’s the key to success? You know what I found out is the key to success is? And I’m not sure I’m the best guy to explain it; these guys can tell you,” Biden said.

As the President of the United States, one would think he should be able to explain the “key to success” to a child. Joe, however, was absolutely not able to do so.

Biden then told the kids, in a very confusing way, that the key to success is to never question the motive of someone you disagree with.

“The key to success is whenever you disagree with someone, it’s okay to question their judgment — whether they’re right or wrong — but it’s never okay to question their motive,” said Biden “If you question their motive, then you never get to be able to agree.”

He then launched into a story about Jesse Helms, a former U.S. Senator, saying “[H]e was a very conservative guy who was very, very – not very crazy about African Americans when he got here. He was all – we always had fights.”

“And one day, I was going into the United States Senate, and Jesse Helms said – was – was on the floor of the Senate saying some terrible things about Ted Kennedy and Bob Dole, the Republican leader, who both had introduced a bill for making sure people with disabilities have access to curb cuts, access to buses, and all these things…”

Biden continued to ramble on with this story, completely forgetting he was talking to literal children and others who are not even citizens of the United States and likely have no idea what he was talking about.

It was fairly obvious that Biden himself had no idea what he was talking about.

Adam Cancryn, the White House reporter for Politico tweeted out screenshots of the official White House transcript from the event, which hilariously showcase Biden’s inability to form coherent thoughts and responses.
