As rates of violence against ICE agents continue to surge, an arson attack was reported on the ICE office in Yakima, Washington this weekend.

Agents were forced to flee after a deranged arsonist threw a rock through the window, then set fire to the property.

Thankfully, no one was injured.

Here’s what we know so far:

On Saturday, a cowardly rioter threw a rock through a window of a building that ICE has a sub-office in. Additionally, a small fire was set at the back of the building. Local authorities are investigating this has an act of arson. There have been no injuries reported at this time and the investigation is ongoing. It is unclear if our brave ICE law enforcement were the targets of these violent acts.
From comparisons to the modern-day Nazi gestapo to glorifying rioters, the violent rhetoric of sanctuary politicians is beyond the pale. Our ICE law enforcement is now facing an 830% increase in assaults against them. Secretary Noem has been clear: Anyone who seeks to harm law enforcement officers will be found and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

This marks the latest crime against ICE agents, spurred on largely by the left’s violent rhetoric.

Assistant Homeland Security Secretary Tricia McLaughlin spoke to The New York Post about the surging rates of violence against ICE and placed the blame on Democrats who incite it.

Here’s what she had to say:

Assaults on ICE personnel are up 830% as the Trump administration pushes a mass deportation campaign, according to McLaughlin.

She railed against sanctuary leaders for demonizing immigration agents.

“Make no mistake, Democrat politicians like [House Minority Leader] Hakeem Jeffries, Mayor [Michelle] Wu of Boston, [Minnesota Gov.] Tim Walz, and Mayor [Karen] Bass of Los Angeles are contributing to the surge in assaults of our ICE officers through their repeated vilification and demonization of ICE,” said McLaughlin.

Attacks like these are absolutely unacceptable.

Not only should anti-ICE rioters be prosecuted, but Democrats who keep portraying ICE agents as some kind of villains who must be stopped at all costs should also be held accountable for the incitement of such violence.

Matt Van Swol makes a great point:

Calls are growing for the military to be deployed in blue states — like it was during the Los Angeles riots.
