According to newly released court documents, the DOJ has admitted as part of the Russian interference in the 2016 election investigation, that it had “insufficient” cause to continue wiretaps of Carter Page.

It turns out that at least two of the four applications with the FISA Court were deemed “not valid.”.

The DOJ admitted in an order posted Thursday that it did not have “probable cause to believe that Page was acting as an agent” of Russia.

This comes over a month after the IG identified 17 inaccuracies in wiretap requests of Carter Page, who was a Trump campaign adviser.

Techno Fog tweeted out the document:

“For at least 2 applications/renewals, “there was insufficient predication to establish probable cause to believe that Carter Page was acting as an agent of a foreign power.”

For anyone who has been following the FISA Court shenanigans, this latest admission is no surprise.

Will this admission by the DOJ negate the Mueller investigation and the sham that was perpetrated on the American taxpayers?

The last renewal was signed by McCabe and Rosenstein!

We won’t be holding our breath.

Last November, Carter Page spoke with Maria Bartiromo on reports of an FBI lawyer altering documents in the 2016 Russia probe:

Former foreign policy adviser to President Trump Carter Page discusses with Maria Bartiromo reports of an FBI employee altering documents in the 2016 Russia probe (see the previous report below).

He also discussed the false narrative being pushed by Democrats and the FBI’s surveillance of him for information on the Trump campaign.

Page weighs in on what might come out in the Inspector General’s report on the Russia probe:

President Trump has exposed the corruption and the Deep State like no other president.

It’s why they want to take him down.

OUR PREVIOUS REPORT:

Let the leaks and spin begin! The intel operatives working at CNN and their intel cronies are trying to get out ahead of the report from IG Horowitz that’s coming out in about two weeks. Get ready for more leaks and distractions via our biased media.

Remember that several former FBI employees including former FBI Deputy Director, Andrew McCabe; the spokesman for James Comey, Josh Campbell; a former FBI agent, Asha Rangappa; and the former FBI chief legal counsel, James Baker all work for CNN.

Sean Hannity weighed in on the news:

The first leak came out via CNN:

CNN claims that several people who were briefed on “the matter” are reporting that an “FBI official is under criminal investigation” for altering a FISA document related to 2016 surveillance of a Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

The possibility of a substantive change to an investigative document is likely to fuel accusations from President Donald Trump and his allies that the FBI committed wrongdoing in its investigation of connections between Russian election meddling and the Trump campaign.

Horowitz turned over evidence on the allegedly altered document to John Durham.

It’s unknown how significant a role the altered document played in the FBI’s investigation of Page and whether the FISA warrant would have been approved without the document. The alterations were significant enough to have shifted the document’s meaning and came up during a part of Horowitz’s FISA review where details were classified, according to the sources.

The identity or rank of the FBI employee under investigation isn’t yet known, and it’s not clear whether the employee still works in the federal government. No charges that could reflect the situation have been filed publicly in court.
