It’s interesting that some Democrats are criticizing the leaders of their party for taking on the impeachment of President Trump. Late-night talk show host Bill Maher ripped into Hunter Biden saying if it was Don Jr taking money from a foreign government, the media would be going ballistic. Now, the Governor of New York Andrew Cuomo is saying Pelosi caved to the far left on impeachment:

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo believes as do many others that Nancy Pelosi was pressured by the far left to go ahead and call for the impeachment of President Trump.  He warned that any attempt to impeach Trump would ultimately go “nowhere.”

“I think we now go to a very long and unproductive road,” he said during a chat on political civility at Seton Hall Law School, according to The New York Daily News.

Cuomo said he believes Pelosi was pressured:

The Democrat Governor continues saying that he believes this will go “nowhere.”:
“They’re doing their quote-unquote inquiry. I think the Ukraine issue raises a lot of questions and I think it is for an investigative committee, it is fodder they can spend months, one witness after another, one witness after another, on all sort of different tracks. Where does it go ultimately? Nowhere, because even if they vote for impeachment, it goes to the Senate and it wouldn’t happen in the Senate.”
Cuomo believes this investigation will be the cause of nothing getting done in Congress:

“So my guess is that this continues and blends into the presidential campaign. The problem with that is that nothing else is going to get done between now and then.”
