‘Empire’ actor Jussie Smollett is nominated for the 2019 NAACP Image Awards. Yes, it looks like everyone around this man believes him over the hard-working Chicago Police Department and his two black friends who he’s throwing under the bus to save himself.
The FBI and DOJ are now investigating Smollett’s case because 16 charges against him were just dropped on Tuesday.
The Host of the NAACP Image Awards is hoping Smollett attends the show on Saturday and he hopes he wins because he’s interested in what Smollett has to say.
Six-time host and “Black-ish” star Anthony Anderson told Variety on Wednesday that he hopes to see the controversial actor there:
“I hope he wins. I’m happy for him that the system worked for him in his favor because the system isn’t always fair, especially for people of color. So I’m glad it worked out for him.”
It’s hard to believe that anyone would be ok with what happened in this case. It’s also hard to believe that the NAACP would nominate Smollett for an award of any kind…much less an Image award. In a case of art imitating life, Smollett is up for the Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series Award.
Rep. Maxine Waters will also be honored with the Chairman’s Award on Saturday evening too.
What they’re forgetting is that Smollett is throwing two black men under the bus while he’s trying to get out of trouble. Aren’t those your brothers too Mr. Anderson?
Smollett and his lawyer continue to lie to the media but with the FBI and DOJ on this case, watch out for a dose of truth and justice.
State’s Attorney Kim Foxx is in the hot seat too because it looks like she didn’t formally recuse herself from the Smollett case after there was back and forth with Michelle Obama’s former Chief of Staff.
Michelle Obama’s former Chief of Staff Tina Tchen released a statement attempting to defend her interference in the Jussie Smollett case in Chicago:
“Shortly after Mr. Smollett reported he was attacked, as a family friend, I contacted Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx, who I also know from prior work together. My sole activity was to put the chief prosecutor in the case in touch with an alleged victim’s family who had concerns about how the investigation was being characterized in public.”
Smollett’s attorney Tina Glandian also appeared on ‘Good Morning America’ and called him the victim:
“He did not ask for any of this,” she said. “He was a victim of a crime. This has completely spiraled out of control and become a political event at this point, and his goal and focus right now is just getting his life back on track. He has not even started healing from the initial attack because he’s been dealing with everything that has happened since then. I don’t know. I mean, we’re shocked at the mayor and the police superintendent doubling down yesterday when the prosecutor after a dispassionate look at the evidence realized it does not hold up and chose to voluntarily dismiss all counts and expunge his record so we’ll weigh our options and see how this develops.”
The texts and emails below are from our previous report. The contact between Foxx and Tchan tells a different story:
Americans were shocked when it was announced on Tuesday afternoon, that all charges had been dropped in the ‘Empire’ actor Jussie Smollett hate-crime hoax case. During their press conference to discuss the Smollett case, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Chicago Police Department Supt. Eddie Johnson openly admitted they were blind-sided by the announcement by the announcement that came from Chicago Prosecutor Kim Foxx’s office.
As is the case in many blue cities like Chicago, there’s something about the dismissal of this case that doesn’t pass the smell test. The suspicions many have about foul play in the Smollett case appear to be well-founded. Text messages and emails reveal Prosecutor Kim Foxx and Michelle Obama’s former Chief of Staff, Tina Tchen communicating about the Smollett case, and reveal Tchen was asking Foxx to intercede on Smollett’s behalf, confirming that the two were working behind the scenes to get Smollett out of the 16 charges.
As reported by 100 Percent Fed Up last month, Chicago Tribune reported, that after being approached by a politically connected lawyer, State’s Attorney Kimberly Foxx asked Chicago police Superintendent Eddie Johnson to turn over the investigation of Jussie Smollett’s reported attack to the FBI, according to communications provided to the Tribune.
Foxx reached out to Johnson after Tina Tchen, former chief of staff to first lady Michelle Obama, emailed Foxx saying the actor’s family had unspecified “concerns about the investigation.”
Tchen, a close friend of Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s wife, said she was acting on behalf of the “Empire” actor and his family. A relative later exchanged texts with Foxx.
In an email sent just two days after Smollett falsely claimed he was jumped by a pair of Trump-supporting bigots, Foxx reached out to Tchen to let her know that she had contacted Johnson, as the Obama alumnus had previously requested.“Spoke to Superintendent Johnson. I convinced him to reach out to FBI to ask that they take over the investigation,” Foxx wrote.
“OMG this would be a huge victory,” Tchen wrote in response to a text message from Foxx containing the same information as was included in the email.
“I make no guarantees,” Foxx responded, “but I’m trying.”
The National Review reports – The Chicago Fraternal Order of Police has requested that the Department of Justice open an investigation into Cook County state’s attorney Kim Foxx’s handling of the Jussie Smollett hate-crime-hoax case.
Foxx ultimately recused herself from the investigation, but only after asking Chicago Police Department superintendent Eddie Johnson to turn the case over to the FBI at the behest of one of Smollett’s relatives and a former Obama administration official, according to emails and text messages obtained by the Chicago Sun-Times.
The unnamed Smollett relative was reportedly put in contact with Foxx by Tina Tchen, a private attorney who formerly served as chief of staff to Michelle Obama and as an assistant to Barack Obama.
After the series of communications, the FBI never took control of the investigation, which resulted in Smollett’s being charged with disorderly conduct. Fraternal Order of Police president Kevin Graham believes Foxx should be investigated for trying to interfere in the investigation.
“Private attorneys are not allowed to interfere with ongoing police investigations, particularly at the request of private individuals associated with subjects being investigated by the police,” Graham wrote in a letter sent Friday to John R. Lausch, the U.S. attorney in Chicago, obtained by CWBChicago.
Empire actor and hate crime hoaxer, Jussie Smollett told Good Morning America host Robin Roberts, “I am not weak,” during a tearful interview where he pretended to recall a hate crime against him, that as it turns out, looks like it was also orchestrated by him.

Smollett’s sister, Jurnee Smollett, who once worked for Barack Obama
You are not weak. You are brave. One of the bravest I know. Speaking your truth, a person living at the intersection of multiple identities, unapologetically, takes courage. I love you

Hate crime hoaxer Jussie Smollett’s sister, Jurnee, an actress in the WGN-TV series “Underground,’ told Ebony magazine, that the wound of slavery have not been healed, “we see that the wounds that we all as a nation inflicted upon our brothers and sisters during slavery have not been healed,” Smollett-Bell said, reflecting on the current political climate. “There’s still a really divisive residue in our nation that’s called racism and prejudice and oppression and sexism.”
She said that although she doesn’t want to give Trump “the credit of stirring us up,” his rise is a “call to action,” particularly for those who might have gotten “a little relaxed” during former President Barack Obama’s tenure.
“Honestly, I have so much hope for all of us,” said Smollett-Bell, who served as a surrogate for Obama’s 2008 and 2012 campaigns. “We are being called to action, and I really see a movement of love, a movement of positivity really gaining so much momentum. If anything, that’s what I want to focus my energy on.”
Here’s Jurnee Smollett Bell’s Instagram post where she confirms that she worked for Barack Obama’s campaign. Much of her Instagram account is dedicated to hating Donald Trump and for promoting Black power and transgenders.
Hate hoaxer Jussie Smollett was no stranger to the Obama’s either. This selfie was taken on his 2016 visit to the White House.

Smollett can be seen laughing with the first lady during another White House visit here.
Smollett also found himself on stage with Michelle Obama in March 2016, as the first lady shook her bootie for the crowd, while Smollett sang on stage to promote black kids going to college.
Smollett was also asked to sing for the Obama’s on the eve the Obama’s celebrated themselves, with a final extravagant gala, that included black guests and black entertainers.

It’s curious how the former first family, who appears to have close ties with the Smollett family, has remained silent on the “attempted lynching” and “hate crime” committed against their good friend Jussie Smollett. The Obama’s silence on the “hate crime” committed against their friend is especially curious, given that the “attack” by “white MAGA hat” wearing men took place in their hometown of Chicago.
Black conservative personality Adrian Norman asked why Jussie Smollett, who is intimately tied to the Obama’s, 2020 Democrat presidential candidates, Senator Corey Booker, and Kamala Harris, just happened to push a very public fake lynching case, while at the same time, Booker and Harris were trying to push an “ant-lynching” bill through Congress. Norman found their timing to be incredible, given that there hasn’t been an actual lynching in roughly 40 years in America.
Here’s Jussie talking about singing at the very last concert at the White House.
What do you think? Do you find it odd that the Obamas, who are usually on the forefront of the race war in America, remained silent for so long on the Smollett attack in their hometown of Chicago? Did they know something that no one else knew? We’d love to know what you think in the comment section below.
