Maxine Waters recently gave an interview where she was asked to comment on police reform, but Water’s, who clearly lacks solutions, apparently could not resist the urge to denigrate the GOP House members rather than discuss ideas. She went on to label the Republican-led House the “Marjorie Taylor Greene Republican caucus” and said,

“We have these right-wing conservatives who are, you know—we have domestic terrorists in the House of Representatives. These people are extremists. So I am not optimistic that that is the way that it is going to happen until the people of this country really decide that they do not want it, and they are not going to elect people who act in the fashion that they act.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene responded to Water’s statement by posting a compilation video of the numerous times Waters has called for violence, even threatening President Trump, saying, “I will go and take Trump out tonight. MTG asked what Waters is hoping to gain by her calls for violence, “What does she want? She has a history of inciting violence.”
MTG tweeted, “Maxine Waters called me a domestic terrorist on committees. Mad Maxine is the real domestic terrorist.”

Following the January 6 protests, Waters was one of three Democrats who sent a letter to the Government Accountability Office asking for a review of how “domestic violent extremists” and “homegrown violent extremists” fund their activities and calling for new ways to stop it,

The letter said, “…more information on the funding of domestic terrorism and violent extremism is required to understand how financial data and analytical tools can more effectively be used to combat this problem.”

When most Americans think of domestic terrorists, they picture people doing what Waters has been caught calling for; inciting violence, urging crowds of people to ignore the Supreme Courts’ rule, and threatening political opposition with physical harm. Members of Congress who work on bills to protect the law are not generally considered to be violent extremists.

Boebert also criticized Waters’s comments,

“Maxine Waters says that we have House Republicans who are domestic terrorists. Interesting, as I don’t remember anyone in the House who has called for more violence than Maxine Waters.”

Extremists like Waters are more concerned with pushing rhetoric and fanning emotional flames than solving the numerous problems facing the nation and Watter’s home turf in crime-ridden, tent-city Los Angeles.
Twitter users are exposing how bad Los Angeles has become. The city is riddled with crime, homelessness, and garbage. It’s shocking that Waters would propose that other legislators have no business in their positions of leadership when her constituents live in what once was a beautiful city and now is littered with trash.

One tweet mocked Waters while showing the city’s decay, saying, “Bravo, Rep. Waters! The Maxine Waters block party is a HUGE success!!! (Language warning)
