The Showboating House Judiciary Committee had to wait overnight to have a party-line vote on articles of impeachment when it took ten minutes to vote?

The two articles of impeachment don’t even rise to High Crimes and Misdemeanors! They are abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

The sham case didn’t just magically grow stronger overnight! This was all for the cameras.

Last night, Chairman Nadler suddenly gaveled the hearing to an end without consulting with anyone else on the committee:

Rep. Collins responded: “You chose not to consult a ranking member on a scheduling issue of this magnitude?”

Collins ripped into Nadler after he shut down the hearing:

The committee voted this morning and it took just a few minutes. It was a straight party vote: 23-17

The full House will vote next week and then the Senate will hold a trial. The Senate will vote after the trial.

One of the committee members even said this morning that this was all for the cameras:

Remember when Speaker Pelosi and Chairman Nadler said that impeachment should be broad and bipartisan?
