President Trump Robert E. Lee at a MAGA rally last night and you’d think he said something off-the-charts horrible. The clip from NBC was edited to end at a point where is deceptively appears as though Trump ONLY praised Lee. Check out screenshots of the titles from CNN and NBC:
And NBC with their misleading title and video clip that’s cut short to make it seem like Trump ONLY praised Lee…NOT TRUE!
Please watch the full story below from YouTube and you’ll understand what they did. The truth is that Lee was a great General who was once superintendent of the US Military Academy at West Point, and fought in the Mexican-American War before the Civil War. This is a great history lesson that teaches that Robert E. Lee was a great General but Grant came in and defeated Lee. The full video is below where President Trump talks about Generals Grant and Lee.

Let’s face it, the left has been trying to cleanse our history for years. They want to eliminate all things Confederate and all things to do with the Civil War. It’s our history and should be used to teach and learn from, NOT erase!
HERE’S THE ENTIRE VIDEO WITH THE HISTORY LESSON FROM PRESIDENT TRUMP ON THE CIVIL WAR STARTING AT THE 1:00:50 POINT:
The truth is that Lee was a great strategist and was a great General. Do we not want to acknowledge that because he lead the Confederacy? This shows just how ignorant the left chooses to be about the Civil War. Maybe they should take a history lesson. History is history. We SHOULD discuss wars, tactics and the great Generals no matter what the context. This is why the Pentagon has an archive of war history. We should learn from past strategies that worked.
Please read Sun Tzu’s “The Art of War”. It is the most influential text on strategy in East Asian warfare. It has influenced military thinking around the world. it has also been used in politics and business.
Our favorite quote from Sun Tzu is the one below:
So you can admire “The Art of War” but that doesn’t mean you identify with the Chinese. Why then would you identify with General Lee if you want to know about his strategy? This is just more silliness from the left who’ll use any opportunity to called President Trump a racist.
Shame on them!
