President Trump just made an announcement that he’s delaying ICE raids by two weeks because Democrats requested it. The raids had been set to begin on Sunday early morning.
PRESIDENT TRUMP TWEETED: At the request of Democrats, I have delayed the Illegal Immigration Removal Process (Deportation) for two weeks to see if the Democrats and Republicans can get together and work out a solution to the Asylum and Loophole problems at the Southern Border. If not, Deportations start!
This is an interesting development because former ICE Director Thomas Homan accused the DHS Secretary Kevin McAleenan of resisting raids on illegal aliens who’ve been given final deportation orders. Homan also alluded that McAleenan leaked information on the raids to The Washington Post:
On Saturday morning’s Fox and Friends, Tom Homan went off on acting DHS Secretary Kevin McAleenan accusing him of resisting the ICE raids and alluded that he leaked the information about the raids to The Washington Post

It’s hard to believe that Democrats will finally come to the table. Pelosi tweeted “delay is welcome” so that’s not a good sign:
Mr. President, delay is welcome. Time is needed for comprehensive immigration reform. Families belong together. https://t.co/R9PDrfaKWj

It’s disappointing that President Trump isn’t following through ASAP with deporting 1 million illegals who have been given final deportation orders.
It sounds like the DHS Secretary needs to go. Perhaps Thomas Homan should take his place but Homan still hasn’t accepted President Trump’s offer to be the Border Czar.
We are already in crisis mode:
