U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland has been recalled from his overseas post by President Trump just days after his Senate acquittal.

Sondland testified about President Trump’s involvement in Ukraine during the House impeachment hearings flip-flopping on whether he felt the president was involved in a “quid pro quo” with Ukraine.

Sondland released a statement today saying he’s grateful to the president for the opportunity and is proud of his accomplishments:

“I was advised today that the president intends to recall me effective immediately as the United States ambassador to the European Union. I am grateful to President Trump for having given me the opportunity to serve, to Secretary Pompeo for his consistent support, and the exceptional and dedicated professionals at the U.S. Mission to the European Union. I am proud of our accomplishments. Our work here has been the highlight of my career.”

During his impeachment hearing testimony in the House, Sondland claimed there was a “potential quid pro quo” involving U.S. military aid to Ukraine and Trump’s wish to investigate corruption by Joe and Hunter Biden. When Sondland was pressed in later testimony, he clarified that he never heard that link from the president himself.

REPUBLICANS RIP APART GORDON SONDLAND’S CLAIM THAT THERE WAS A QUID PRO QUO:

During the Democrat impeachment circus, Gordon Sondland, U.S, Ambassador to the E.U. dropped what the 13 angry Democrats hoped would be a bombshell when he suggested he believed Trump’s dealings with Ukraine President Zelensky related to withholding U.S. military aid in return for an investigation into the Biden’s amounted to “quid pro quo.”

In his testimony on Capitol Hill, Ambassador Sondland said Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani pushed for Ukraine to publicly announce an investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden, who was on the board of Ukraine energy company, Burisma Holdings.

Rep John Ratcliffe (R-TX) obliterated the arrogant multi-million dollar Ambassador, by exposing how on October 2nd, Sondland ran into President Trump and told him that he had been called to testify before Congress regarding his involvement in possible “quid pro quo,” between Trump and Ukraine President Zelensky. Ambassador Sondland testified that President Trump’s response to Sondland, was, “Good—go tell the truth.”

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) humiliated the scattered ambassador with one question, “Ambassador, when did it happen?” “When did what happen?” Ambassador Sondland replied.

After two of the most powerful voices in the impeachment hearings destroyed CNN and Chairman Schiff’s narrative that Trump was part of a “quid pro quo” deal with Ukraine President Zelensky, Rep. Mike Turner (R-OH) placed the icing on the cake…

Rep. Mike Turner (R-OH) exposed the “made up” testimony by Sondland, forcing him to deliver a clear message to the American people, who want the truth, and not a hearsay version by an inexperienced clown.

Here’s what the CNN news website looks like. How long before the fake, anti-Trump network will remove their bogus headline?

President Trump responded to Sondland’s testimony on Twitter by reminding everyone of his words to Ambassador Sondland, “I want nothing!”
