President Trump has nominated Texas Rep. John Ratcliffe for the Director of National Intelligence a second time. Radcliffe had been nominated by President Trump six months ago, but his nomination was withdrawn.

The president tweeted out the news today that he will be nominating Ratcliffe again:

“I am pleased to announce the nomination of Rep Ratcliffe to be Director of National Intelligence (DNI). Would have completed the process earlier, but John wanted to wait until after IG Report was finished. John is an outstanding man of great talent!”

Congressman Ratcliffe is unafraid to say what needs to be said. His tweet from February 24th is a perfect example:
“I don’t know anyone in the last three years who has done more to help Vladimir Putin and Russia with their efforts to sow the seeds of discord in American elections and American election security than Adam Schiff.”
