The House passed a government funding bill yesterday that included funding for the border wall that President Trump wants.

It was a win for President Trump but the bill now has to go to the Senate where it’ll be a battle to get enough votes for the bill with border wall funding.

Ebineezer Scrooge Schumer has already announced that he will oppose any will that includes border wall funding even though there is plenty of evidence he supported a fence and border security in the past:

“Illegal immigration is wrong, plain and simple… People who enter the United States without our permission are illegal aliens and illegal aliens should not be treated the same as people who entered the U.S. legally.” – Schumer, 2009

“#SchumerShutdown” is trending on Twitter because Senator Schumer owns the government shutdown if the funding bill is blocked by the Democrats.

Schumer played Chicken Little and was all gloom and doom when he last spoke about the wall funding:

Even better, President Trump just tweeted to Senator McConnell to go with the nuclear option if he has to:

IN A RARE SHOW OF STRENGTH, GOP SENATORS BACK TRUMP:

GOP Senator Steve Daines floated the nuclear option to get the bill passed:

House just passed a bill that fully funds government and enables to secure our border/build the wall. Senate can do same by eliminating the filibuster. 51 votes, same as we do for judges!

President Trump tweeted a shout-out to Daines for his support:

Thank you for being willing to go with the so-called nuclear option in order to win on DESPERATELY NEEDED Border Security! Have my total support.
