Former Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem’s personal life became a bigger story than her work in the Trump administration after revelations surfaced about her husband’s bizarre fetishes.
Although she has since been relieved of that position in favor of a less public role, public curiosity still swirls around the couple’s unorthodox relationship.
And as the New York Post reported, Noem’s own mother shared some insight during a recent interview:
“It has been difficult, but we knew this was coming, that they were going to get divorced,” Corinne Arnoldtold the Daily Mail at her home next door to the ranch where the Noems lived and raised three children.
Arnold said that her daughter confided her plans in late spring — not long after photos surfaced of Bryon, 56, wearing enormous fake breasts while chatting with a fetish performer.
ADVERTISEMENTIt’s unclear if Kristi Noem, who has allegedly carried on a years-long affair with former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, changed her mind in recent months, and no divorce filings have surfaced.
Arnold said that she learned the news when the whole family went to the birthday party of the scandal-plagued couple’s grandchild.
The update sparked some social media discussion:

AOL provided some additional coverage:
The revelation comes after Bryon’s double life as a cross-dresser was exposed earlier this year. Bryon had allegedly been talking to women from the “bimbofication” scene, which consists of adult entertainers who enhance their b—– to make them look like Barbie dolls.
Exposed photos showed Bryon also dressing up this way, with one shocking image picturing him with giant balloons under his chest to mimic a woman’s chest. Other snaps pictured him in women’s clothing like hotpants, spandex and “makeshift b—– plates.”
According to Daily Mail‘s bombshell report, Bryon chatted online with other women for around 14 months. He was also accused of spending at least $25,000 to chat with the fetish models.
And here’s a recap of the scandal:
