The theme of unity will resonate throughout President Trump’s State of the Union speech tonight. It’s a brilliant way to say to those Democrats who are boycotting his speech that THEY are the losers. It’ll be interesting to hear what Maxine Waters has to say after the speech because all we hear from her is, “Impeach 45!” The Democrats need a new playbook because Trump is way ahead of them…
President Trump plans to declare a “New American Moment” in his first official State of the Union address to Congress, according to excerpts released ahead of Tuesday’s prime-time speech.
“This is our New American Moment,” Trump will say. “There has never been a better time to start living the American dream.”

The excerpts show Trump will tout first-year accomplishments like tax cuts, regulations rollbacks and more.
“Our massive tax cuts provide tremendous relief for the middle class and small businesses,” Trump says.
“Together, we are building a safe, strong and proud America,” Trump says, a phrase the White House says is the theme of his speech.
Gary Cohn was in on the process of putting together the speech and had this to say:

He is expected to focus on five themes during the speech, including jobs and the economy, infrastructure, immigration, trade and national security.
