President Trump fired Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on Tuesday, replacing him with CIA Director Mike Pompeo. The main stream media is going crazy over this move but it makes sense to anyone who’s been paying attention. Great move!

“Look, folks, when we voted President Trump in we knew he wouldn’t be politically correct and wouldn’t act like any other president, but you can’t argue with the outstanding results. I’d like a more stable admin as well but our country is winning again so relax and trust him. Trump is not afraid to switch people out if they don’t follow his agenda. Obama settled and got nothing done.”

The stunning shake-up of the State Department’s leadership comes amid a divergence in the public statements coming from Tillerson and the White House, on delicate foreign policy predicaments ranging from North Korea talks to Russian chemical attacks in the U.K.

There had been rumors of disagreements throughout Tillerson’s tenure as Secretary of State between Trump and him.  Tillerson had just returned from a shortened trip to Africa hours before Trump’s announcement. Trump offered no explanation for the change.

A senior White House official told Fox News the president decided to make the change ahead of his upcoming meeting with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.

“The president wanted to make sure to have his new team in place in advance of the upcoming talks with North Korea and various ongoing trade negotiations,” the adviser said.

CLASHES OVER FOREIGN POLICY STRATEGY:

 Tillerson, the former chief executive of ExxonMobil, was tapped as Trump’s first secretary of state. But the two clashed over foreign policy strategies over the last year.

“I want to thank Rex Tillerson for his service,” Trump said in a statement. “A great deal has been accomplished over the last fourteen months, and I wish him and his family well.”

In a statement released by the White House, Pompeo said: “I am deeply grateful to President Trump for permitting me to serve as director of the Central Intelligence Agency and for this opportunity to serve as secretary of state. His leadership has made America safer and I look forward to representing him and the American people to the rest of the world to further America’s prosperity.”

FIRST WOMAN TO SERVE AS DIRECTOR:

Trump said he is naming Gina Haspel the new director of the CIA. Haspel has served as Pompeo’s deputy and will become the first woman to serve as director. WE’RE SURE THE LEFT WILL IGNORE THIS!
