President Trump will sit down with Joe Rogan on Friday in Austin, Texas, to film an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience.

According to NBC News, Trump will hold a rally in Texas the same day.

Harris is scheduled to be in Houston that day.

Per NBC News:

“The Joe Rogan Experience” has reigned for years as one of the most popular podcasts in all of media, particularly among young men, who have been key targets of the Trump campaign.

Trump has done a number of interviews in recent weeks with other media figures popular among men, including Ben Shapiro, Adin Ross and Theo Vonn. He also appeared on Andrew Schulz’s “Flagrant” podcast with Akaash Singh.

Rogan and Trump have a complicated history. Though the “Fear Factor” host supported Sen. Bernie Sanders during the 2020 primary, he also has praised Trump’s presidency. In August, Rogan also said he was a “fan” of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., then an independent presidential candidate, though he quickly clarified he wasn’t endorsing him.

Rogan reportedly may interview Kamala Harris before the presidential election.

Trump previously told the Nelk Boys he would appear on Rogan’s podcast.

“You’re doing a lot of podcasts recently. One that I would love to see you on is I think Joe Rogan has to have you on,” Kyle Forgeard said.

“Would you do that?” he asked.

“Oh, sure I would,” Trump responded.

“I think I’m doing it, actually,” he added.

“So you are going to do Joe Rogan,” Forgeard said.

“Yeah I am,” Trump stated.

“Trump confirms he’s going on Joe Rogan with the Nelk Boys!” the Nelk Boys wrote.

From POLITICO:

Rogan himself has been critical of Trump in the past. In July 2022, he called the former president an “existential threat to democracy.” Yet Rogan has more recently been complimentary of Trump, saying last month that the economy under Trump “did really well and he really did try to cut some of the bulls*** down that’s going on in this country.”

Trump and Rogan have also had friendly moments in recent months, such as when they have greeted each other at UFC events. The two also have mutual allies — a group that includes RFK, who endorsed Trump after dropping his presidential bid, and tech billionaire Elon Musk.

Vice President Kamala Harris has also reportedly been in talks to go on Rogan’s podcast. A Harris spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment on her plans.
